February 2026 - Start with Self-Love This February

Start with Self-Love This February

From the team at The Richards’ Centre

February is traditionally known as the month of love, but before you rush to show appreciation for everyone else, take a moment to think about YOU.

How often do you give your own body the same care and attention you offer to others?

Self-love isn’t selfish, it’s essential. When you take time to look after yourself, you have more energy, patience, and joy to give to everyone around you.

How to Show Yourself Some Love This Month

LISTEN TO YOUR BODY
If you’re feeling tired, tense or sore, don’t ignore it. Rest when you need to and seek support if something doesn’t feel right.

MOVE BECAUSE IT FEELS GOOD
Exercise shouldn’t be punishment; it’s about celebrating what your body can do. Choose activities that make you feel strong, flexible and happy.

TAKE A BREAK FROM ‘BUSYNESS’
Even five minutes of calm can reset your nervous system. Try deep breathing, stretching, or a quiet walk in nature.

BOOK SOME TIME FOR YOU
Whether it’s a walk, a good book, or a session with your osteopath, make self-care non-negotiable.

Osteopathy supports your body’s natural balance and helps ease the physical tension that often builds up from stress and overwork. It’s one of the most powerful ways to invest in your wellbeing, a true act of self-love.

This February, give yourself the same kindness you show to others. Because when you truly take care of yourself, everything else flows more easily.

🥶 Feeling a bit stiff after the holidays… or just easing back into routine?

January can be a tough month on the body, colder weather, slower movement, long hours at desks, and a post-festive slump all add up.

Osteopathy can help you:

•Release built-up tension
•Improve mobility
•Support circulation in the colder months
•Reset after a busy December
•Start the year feeling lighter, looser, and more energised

January doesn’t need big resolutions - just consistent care that helps your body move and feel better day by day.

💙 If you’re ready for a gentle reset, we’re here to help.

January 2026 - A Rolling Start to the New Year

A Rolling Start to the New Year

From the team at The Richards’ Centre

January is often full of good intentions, new diets, new exercise plans, and ambitious resolutions. But here’s the thing: most resolutions don’t last, because they demand huge change all at once.

This year, why not take a gentler, more sustainable approach?

Think of January not as a time for big promises, but as a chance to build small, healthy habits that will carry you through the whole year.

Here are five simple ways to start:

•Move a little more.

Even short bursts of movement, taking a short walk at lunchtime, stretching while the kettle boils, or a few minutes of mobility work, all will do wonders for your joints and circulation.

•Prioritise your posture.

Most of us spend hours sitting at desks or on sofas. Take regular breaks to stand, move and reset your posture.

•Stay hydrated.

Your muscles and joints need water and nutrients to work efficiently. Keep a bottle of water on your desk and eat a variety of colourful foods.

•Sleep and rest well.

Good sleep is one of the most underrated forms of self-care. Aim for consistency rather than perfection.

•Keep up regular visits to your osteopath!

Think of your osteopath as part of your long-term health plan. Regular check-ins can help prevent problems before they start, keeping you moving freely, comfortably, and confidently throughout the year.

Small changes, done consistently, lead to big results.

You will find our link in our bio.

We look forward to helping you in 2026!

Warm regards,

From the team at The Richards’ Centre

Survive the Festive Season 🎄

🎁 Wrap gifts on a table (not the floor!) and take stretch breaks

🛍️ Lift like Santa — bend your knees, not your back

⭐ Decorate smart: use a step, don’t overreach, ask for help

✨ Keep your body merry and bright!
If festive aches appear, osteopathy can help keep you moving.

21/12/2025

Whilst you’re busy creating a magical new human being, your body has to change and adapt along the way.

Sometimes you can experience aches and pains, which might affect your life or stop you from having a good night’s sleep.

Osteopathy is safe for pregnancy too and we can gently ease you back to feeling comfortable and happy.

And then we can check to make sure that you and baby are feeling great again afterwards!
