Francis Court Care Home Our dedicated team provides high-quality residential, dementia, nursing and short-term respite care Francis Court care home is not taking any new admissions.

Care UK is in the process of helping to secure alternative accommodation for current Francis Court residents so that structural improvements can be made to the building. These improvements would ensure that the team can continue to build on, and improve, their care offering to the Copthorne community. It is anticipated that necessary work will not begin until at least 2024 and there is currently no time frame for when Francis Court will reopen.

Stigma around still exists and can impact those people living with the condition.

Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI) has launched a global survey to understand attitudes towards dementia so they can help raise awareness, fight stigma and improve the lives of those living with dementia.
