Absolutely!
Love a spectrum!
A 2022 published article by leading osteoporosis exercise researchers pointed out:
“Exercise guidelines need to consider that people with osteoporosis may be on a spectrum from very frail to athletes…”
We couldn’t agree more. In fact, we’ve been advocating for more stratification in how osteoporosis is considered from an exercise perspective for the last 15 years. 🔥
So many factors need to be taken into account when determining exercise programming for those with osteoporosis. It’s easy to lump everyone together that has a diagnosis, but that’s just not appropriate for many reasons.
Tomorrow’s post will dive into the variability that needs to be examined!

🌿 Thoughtful Thursday 🌿
Today, let’s pause and check in with ourselves, mind, body and energy.
✨Did you know that our energetic health is just as important as our physical and emotional wellbeing? This is where pranic healing can help.
Pranic healing is a gentle, non-touch energy healing technique that works by clearing blockages and restoring balance in your body’s natural energy system. It can help with:
✨ Stress & anxiety
✨ Sleep disturbances
✨ Physical aches & pains
✨ Emotional overwhelm
On this Thoughtful Thursday, gift yourself a moment of calm. Take a deep breath, place your hand on your heart, and ask: "How am I really feeling today?"
An Exciting Opportunity to Join the Bridgeham Clinic Team.
We are currently seeking a salaried Osteopath to join our well-established, multidisciplinary clinic.
At Bridgeham, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding patient care within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
We look forward to welcoming the successful applicant to our team.

🌞 School’s almost out, are you ready to keep up?
🏃♀️🎉The summer holidays are here, and we all know what that means… endless games of tag, trips to the park, piggyback rides, and chasing after little ones on their scooters!
🛴💨Make sure you’re fit enough to keep up with them.
Our [Pilates / movement / rehab] classes are the perfect way to stay strong, mobile and energised this summer, so you can run, jump, play, and avoid those niggling aches and pains that creep in when life gets busy.
July 14 is National Tape Measure Day
“If you cannot measure it, you cannot improve it.”
That quote perfectly captures the essence of Bridgeham®’s Stop My Stoop programme, which uses measurable data to create real posture transformation.
Happy National Tape Measure Day!
🛠️Coincidentally, July 14 marks the birth of the spring‑click tape measure, a tool that teaches us: to change, we must measure.
📏That’s why today is the perfect day to start Stop My Stoop:
Stand tall, take the tragus-to-wall measurement (Green/Amber/Red).
Begin your posture journey using Bridgeham® tools and guided exercises.Re-measure weekly—track your alignment journey.
Celebrate each small improvement, just like tick marks on a tape.

Clinic directors Jo and Trevor cannot wait to meet you and journey with you along your #broken2brilliant Bridgeham experience.
Bridgeham Clinic is at 1 Oak Cottage, County Oak Way, Crawley. It is a dream come true for both Jo and Trevor to work in a building that houses fabulous treatment and movement facilities bringing transformational healthcare and effortless movement to all.
Working as a sole practitioner can be a lonely business, however Jo and Trevor wish to share their space with other like minded professionals who have a passion for helping patients/clients to achieve great things with their movement, health and wellbeing.
In 2015 Trevor was awarded Principal of the Year from the institute of osteopathy, in 2016 Bridgeham was runner up for Best practice. Fantastic accolades to have received, however Trevor is happiest in the treatment room making change with patients healthcare and movement, combining osteopathy and pilates to change people’s lives.
Jo continues to invest in her passion for Garuda and pilates with James D’Silva along with infant movement development, ever the beginner wishing to share, embody and advance her knowledge bank for the benefit of others.
Educating kids, with all the technology in the world to be aware of posture is an area where Jo wants to plan ways of making a difference.
Out of Bridgeham Jo and Trev enjoy their kids Ella Rose and Ben, their naughty dog Bobo and with a love of the outdoors you will find them in their garden playing archery or Storm the castle, camping or busily involved in the community in St Margaret’s Church, Ifield and Ifield Conserevation area.
