This course is adapted throughout for each trimester with a selection of workouts including low impact aerobic/dance style movements followed by toning/strengthening exercises for the whole body, finishing with Yoga style moves, relaxation and pelvic floor work. All the moves in the course are designed to work around growing bumps and will help you improve/maintain your fitness and strengthen the areas used in carrying your baby throughout pregnancy, allowing faster recovery after the birth and helping you to physically cope with the labour and delivery of your baby. This is the best way to re-build your foundations before going back to regular exercise. By incorporating the new way to train your pelvic floor and abdominals with Hypopressives we have seen amazing results in strength and waist reduction in just 6 weeks. This course is jam packed eith everything you need to know to fix your body and feel stronger after having your baby. Especially if you have diastasis recti (abdominal separation) weak pelvic floor, stress incontinence or developed a prlapse. For more information please see our website. We advise all new mums to do this as your first step back to exercise as it is individualised for the new mummys needs and ensures you come back to exercise safely. A one hour consultation done on a one to one basis where we assess your posture, abdominals and general well being, making notes as we go to be able to offer you the best indivdual advice for you. Based on the information we take we will introduce you to some exercises that are safe for you. After the consultation you will be sent through a report on what we have assessed with guidance as to what is the best way for you to develop from here. For more details please contact us.

Mum's it isn't unusual to feel a little broken after childbirth. However if you feel a lot broken then get in touch, we may be able to help put you back together. Here's a message we had on our group from one of our online clients, a mum who is very young to be dealing with all this. This is not just an "old women issue" we see women of all ages. You are not alone!

"Just a quick update message for Lizzie & Sarah, and hopefully can provide some reassurance/ hope to others. My son is 3.5yrs old and it has taken until now for me to finally feel like I am getting my life back. Around 6 months ago I was still very symptomatic with my prolapses (even with a pessary in - it would just not hold) - I was having to ask my husband for help with the bath/ bedtime routine most evenings, and had to say no to friends when it came to nights out and things like that, but for the first time (finally) I am getting through to the evenings with no symptoms.
I have just booked our first family holiday and for the first time in years I haven’t had to check my calendar to organise my life around my menstrual/ prolapse cycle.
It took mental resilience, real consistency with hypos, Pilates (and I’ve started to incorporate the odd Squeeze & lift exercises too - just not too many!), plus my pessary when I need it, and finally I feel good! Just thought I would share as I have a Grade 3 uterine, 2 Cystocele and 1 Rectocele and some days I thought I was doomed.

It is very normal to feel different after having a baby 👶👶👶
Emotionally and physically.

Some women jump into motherhood like ducks to water and always seem to have their s*** together.
I was NEVER one of these mums, always stressing, always worrying that they werent' eating enough, sleeping enough, getting enough play dates etc.
Due to my job I did go back to exercise and teaching my classes that I was doing before quickly after mine without any real problem, however many of the mums I have met over the years haven't felt "right" since their children came along and feel like if they move the wrong way their insides may fall out! 😨😨😨 (you are not alone by the way)!!!

We are not kidding when we say it is like a big workout, not just delivery but coping with the weight of the baby as they grow, it can cause a lot of discomfort.

The stronger you are the more you can cope with what is thrown at you. So don't stop just adjust, ask for help and ensure you speak to a pre and postnatal exercise specialist 😍😍😍

3 Top Tips to help with pelvic floor weakness. 👇👇👇👇👇👇

1. Stand up straight - yep simple right? 😮

2. Breath into your rib cage - so don't breathe down into the belly, this adds pressure in the abdominal cavity which we want to reduce.

3. Bridges - this exercise helps functionally work your pelvic floor, try 20 everyday (see pic below)

If your workout didn't go to plan this week, or you didn't get the gains you were hoping for because the wheels fell off.

It is ok!

Don't beat yourself up, it will only send you in a downward spiral of not feeling good enough. Find the positives of what you have achieved, I bet its loads😉😉 and try your fitness plan again tomorrow!

I find the kinder I am to myself the more I achieve, give it a go 😘😘😘😘

Our Story

Hi there Mumma

We are Lizzie Duggan and Sarah St John and we have been helping mummies stay strong and healthy in their pregnancy and postnatal stages for 8 years now.

Our aim is to provide a safe environment for mummies to come and ask those all important questions to other mums in the group or us that you maybe couldn’t ask anyone else.

“I have PGP (pelvic girdle pain) what can i do?” “when can i go back to exercise and what is safe to do?” “I have Diastasis Recti what exercises can i do?” “is it normal to p*e when I jump?” These are questions we get asked every day which is why we have developed our two online programmes for you.
