It may seem irrelevant but can never go unspoken that one of my inspirations have been the life changing loss of my 'Precious Little Ross' who died when he was just 3 years old leaving a massive whole in my stomach that new ventures are built around. Children were 200% my life as for 15 years i was a mum at home working with children during which time I dipped into doing basic courses in NLP, supp
orting Bereaved Adults & Children and a Macmillan Cancer Support Certificate. My deep rooted knowledge of living with a Congenital Heart Diagnosis, Surgeries and Loss, I hope puts me in a greater position to understand and help others just needing a bit of time out and above and beyond... to never be judgemental or live with regrets. In 2011 i opened a shop; Reams of Special Stuff (ROSS) which was an emporium for all occasions, but early in 2015 i made the decision to close as being weighted down with a £35,000 debt that wasn't reducing was topped off by the birth of my beautiful baby girl (and as good as i am at multi-tasking this was finally the right time for a change). Quick decisions were made to re-locate part of the business to my home and so begins the rise of my new journey .... 'Precious' ~ Holistic and Beauty Treatments -read more below. Reams didn't scrap a thing and so still keep the reams page/group open to sell furniture, the new items, hair accessories, flowers for all occasions and memorials so check out our other pages. Towards the end of 2012, I began my Holistic journey by studying a level 3 Diploma in Swedish Body Massage alongside Anatomy & Physiology and Health & Safety. On passing massage with distinction, it was soon followed by a level 3 award in Hot Stone Therapy which further built my confidence to go into this field of work when also passed with distinction (not to mention the feedback from case studies). Having studied A&P i automatically thought id be insured to do something as basic as a manicure, but after discussing with my insurers i was surprised to find that if a therapist has not done the specific training then they are not insured to offer the treatment. As a result, since 2012 I've taken a pathway of personal and professional development that i would never of imagined. Despite having a great interest in alternative health i'd not realised i would get satisfaction from offering beauty treatments and how after pulling together previous life experiences and training that everything would all compliment my new venture; for me offering treaments is about helping people and being creative. I've enjoyed adding to my portfolio and am proud to be fully insured to offer a range of other treatments that include; Thermal Auricular Therapy, Indian Head Massage, Warm Waxing, Luxury Manicure, Level 2 in UV Gel Nail Extensions, OPI Gelcolor, Level 2 in Facials, Gellux, Face Painting, Diploma in Caflon Professional Ear Piercing, Spray Tanning, manicure and pedicure, level 2 Acrylic Nail Extensions, level 2 Quick acrylic Nail Extensions, Diploma in Reflexology, Diploma in Body Wrap, Body Crystals, Lashperm & Lashlifting Techniques, Lash & Brow Colour Technician and pregnancy massage.
