With over 20 years of experience working with children, teenagers and young adults as a lecturer and early years teacher Nicky is passionate about changing the lives of children and young people so that they enter adulthood with the skills, resources and mindsets to feel better emotionally and mentally. Working with hypnobirthing mums, 5-12s, 12-19 and young adults Nicky works using coaching, hypnotherapy, NLP and BWRT to support reprogramming mindsets and responses to old triggers offering a lifeline of support and calm to her clients. Nicky also has a registered therapy dog who can work in the office with children and young people who would benefit from the connection to an animal in their sessions. Here's a fact....

Nicky wrote the first Adventures of Brian Book - "Brian & the Blue Butterfly' in SECRET...

For 8 weeks she wrote, illustrated, edited and formatted and other than one or two supporters who were also sworn to secrecy she didn't say a word

She launched the first book to family and friends at Brian's first Birthday Party in September 2016! (Yes he had a party - he's extra special!)

Whilst it can feel dramatic when our children tell us that they feel stressed we should recognise that they are telling us that they feel significantly overwhelmed and are struggling with their emotions.

Childhood presents so many new challenges compared to years ago and many the system are not prepared for until they have already impacted our children.

Teaching them to talk through what is swirling around in their ind is a pivotal skill to helping them take steps forward
