🎅Teamwork in action 🤝

Walking the streets with Santa this year was something really special. The smiles, the excited faces, and the pure joy from the children reminded us exactly why this matters.

A huge shout out to Santa Float - Crewe Rotary, who once again do an incredible job bringing sparkle and festive magic to our community. From bucket shaking to singing our hearts out and cheering Santa along, it was a real team effort.

This is what teamwork looks like 🤝. When our SAS team step in and give something back to the wider community, it’s moments like these that make our community such a special place to be ❤️

🌟Meet Ethan, Our Fundraising Champion🌟

We are incredibly proud to share Ethan’s story.

Ethan, who accesses our Supported Adults Service (SAS) at The Wishing Well Project, recently took on an amazing challenge. He swam the equivalent lengths of the English Channel, Dover to Calais to raise funds for the Supported Adult Service activities.

The swim was made possible with the brilliant support of Seahorse Swimming Club CREWE, led by Gareth Roberts and his dedicated team. Together, they supported Ethan every step of the way as he worked towards an incredible total of 1,408 lengths at Everybody Health & Leisure, Crewe Lifestyle Centre.

What makes this even more special is Ethan’s commitment. Week after week, he showed up, put in the hard work, and never gave up. His determination and focus have inspired everyone around him.

Ethan’s mum, Jayne, shared this with us:
“Ethan has made both myself and his dad very proud with his determination week after week.”

Ethan has now raised £380 for Wishing Well Supported Adults Service. An incredible achievement and a true reflection of the kind, generous person he is. He really is an outstanding young man with a heart of gold, and he certainly has our hearts.

✨A collaboration of kindness ✨

Our relationship with Everybody Crewe West next to The George’s Community Hub has grown from a simple conversation into a genuine collaboration built on shared values and trust.

Over many years we have worked side by side in the community, and the recent transition of the Everybody site has strengthened the connection. This partnership has led to meaningful support for the Wishing Well Toy Appeal, with every donation going directly to local children and families from our Start Well at The Wishing Well Community Hub and neurodiverse adults who attend The George’s Community Hub. Sharing the love and support across Wishing Well Services 🥰

Wishing Well’s mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of local people. Wishing Well and Everybody Crewe West share the same commitment to supporting our community, which is why this first year of working together feels so important.

We are grateful to Everybody Crewe West and their colleagues from Everybody Health & Leisure for their generosity and support. This partnership will help shape our future development, and it shows

🎄🥳 Festive Fun 🥳🎄

A huge thank you to Wendy and Chris, Community Champions Tesco Crewe for joining our supported adults drop-in session and arriving with gifts for everyone. 🎁

We shared a buffet lunch, plenty of smiles, and real moments of joy as Santa and Mrs Claus handed out presents to all, including carers of the supported adults who visit us each week. They are at the heart of what we do in our drop in sessions and without them, our service simply would not exist.

Kindness like this makes such a difference. Thank you again to Tesco for your continued support and generosity towards our charity.

💙 We’re in it to win it!

A giant blue token arrived at Wishing Well to share some amazing news — we’ve been chosen as one of three local good causes in the Tesco Blue Token Scheme! 🎉

Every blue token you pop in our box helps fund much-needed equipment for our Supported Adults Service, supporting some of the most vulnerable adults in our community 👌

We’ve been out and about on a token trail adventure to explore all three Tesco Stores, snapping photos along the way and chatting to customers and guess what 😃 we even caught someone in the act of voting for us! 💪🏻💙

💛 Little hands and little feet, this is where our hearts did meet 💛

How could we not share this little munchkin story!

A few weeks ago, some little ones from Little Steps Nursery popped into the George’s Community Hub after a busy morning exploring the park, they needed a quick bathroom stop, and of course, we were more than happy to help.

It was such a simple moment, but it opened the door (literally!) to something really special.

Last week, we had a lovely surprise visit from the children and their teachers. They arrived with big smiles and generous hearts, bringing along donations they had collected for Harvest Festival to share with our community.

We were genuinely touched by their kindness and thoughtfulness. Watching the children proudly present their gifts, and hearing some of them chat so confidently about what they like and what they do, truly melted our hearts.

A huge thank you to Little Steps Nursery for your generosity and for reminding us what community spirit looks like. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the Hub again soon. 💛🌾

S.A.S. Does ABBA! 💃🕺

Our team enjoyed a brilliant night at the ABBA Experience at Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa, full of laughter, singing, dancing, and good food. From start to finish, the room was filled with loads of energy.

Thank you to all the teams at Crewe Hall for hosting such a wonderful evening, great job 👌

We may be a little hoarse this morning, but that’s the ultimate sign of a fantastic night!

It’s moments like these that remind me how important it is to step away from the day-to-day, spend time together, and simply have fun. Team building, letting your hair down, and strengthening those bonds that make working together so rewarding.

Here’s to more laughter, more music, and more moments that bring our team even closer. 💛
