This week we focused on recycling unwanted metal components 🔩🚑
The team delivered aluminium, mild steel, copper and stainless steel to our local recycler, Houstons🏭
With a fully automated sorting process 🤖and strong environmental accreditations 🌱we know every material is sent in the right direction for responsible recycling🌎💚

Sustainability in action 🌎
As part of the Carbon Footprint tree planting scheme, Aboveline has now planted 29 trees on behalf of our clients
For every completed project, a tree is planted in the UK to help sequester carbon emissions and support biodiversity.
We plant native broadleaf species to protect the UK’s environment, using high-quality, cell-grown whips (one-year-old saplings) to ensure long-term sustainability.
Together, we’re helping to create wildlife habitats, enhance the natural landscape, and offset CO, emissions♻️

St Pauls Centre Food Bank is our chosen local charity, and one we’re proud to support year after year.
Many of the Aboveline team donate long-life food and household essentials, which are delivered to St Pauls and distributed to people and families in need within our local community.
With demand increasing over the Christmas period, donations are especially important at this time of year🎄❤️

Our sixth winning idea from the Sustainability Suggestion Box comes from Jonathon in the Warehouse 🌱📦
He suggested shredding our waste paper and using it as protective packaging for delicate items heading to and from site.
Since Jonathon oversees the safe transport of materials, this solution is practical, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible 💡♻
Plus , it’s reusable!

Festive season is underway at Aboveline 🎄 Our team has once again embraced a sustainable approach to decorating the office. This year’s baubles and snowflakes are crafted from material off-cuts and painted in our brand palette, while the tree has been CNC-cut from stock timber and placed under recessed lighting.
Thank you to Lou who has stepped into the role of Decorations Manager- for which the qualification is attention to detail and being tall! We’re looking forward to enjoying the festive setup throughout December ☃️❄️

This weekend, Thea will be exhibiting at the Hakim Group event at the Telford International
Centre, where independent Opticians and Optometrists gather with leading suppliers and
partners. Thea have entrusted Aboveline for the second year to support their event
presence👏. By incorporating elements from their exhibition stand stock, including a
product display unit, reception desk and lightbox wall , we’ve delivered a clean, cohesive
space that reinforces their brand identity and showcases their expanding product range.
We are looking forward to bringing this vision to life 🚀

♻️ Sustainability Suggestion Winner – No. 5 ♻️
This month’s winning idea comes from our Operations Assistant, Dan S.
Dan suggested removing individual bin liners from desk-side waste bins and instead using one central bin in the main office. This simple change will save around 50 plastic bags every month and reduce costs by approximately £15.
A small change with a meaningful impact — supporting both the environment and our operational efficiency. 🌍✨

The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism approached us with an exciting RFP to create eye-catching stand graphics for IBTM, showcasing the Cayman Islands as a leading destination for incentive travel and business events. 🇰🇾✨

They wanted an immersive and aspirational stand that highlighted their new branding through striking visuals, clean typography, and layered storytelling. From colour palette to tone of voice, every element needed to align seamlessly with their refreshed identity.

This project was a pleasure to deliver, and the clear communication from Joanna and Katie made the process smooth from start to finish. A brilliant collaboration with a brilliant brand. 🤝
