🌍💚 World Mental Health Day
This week, we took a moment to pause, connect, and reflect at our Head Office with a Tea & Talk session, which was hosted by our Mental Health First Aiders, in support of World Mental Health Day.
It's important to prioritise wellbeing, manage stress, and recognise the signs of overwhelm. Today is a simple but powerful reminder that taking care of our mental health starts with small steps - and sometimes, just a good chat over a cuppa.
Here are a few tips they shared to help manage overwhelm:
🧠 Break it down – Big tasks feel less daunting when split into smaller, manageable steps.
📅 Prioritise & plan – Focus on what really needs doing today. Let go of the rest.
🚶♀️ Take breaks – A short walk, a stretch, or a moment of quiet can reset your mind.
💬 Talk it out – Sharing how you feel with someone you trust can lighten the load.
😌 Breathe – Try deep breathing or mindfulness to calm your nervous system.
Mental health matters every day - not just today. Let’s keep the conversation going 💙
