🌸🐷 This morning we’ve spent the day at Glebe Farm and Astbury Garden 🪴
The residents have enjoyed stroking Sheep 🐑 Horses 🐴 Highland Cows 🐮 Goats 🐐 and more, at Astbury we’ve enjoyed drinks in the sun smelling flowers 🌺 and also sung daisy 🌼 daisy 🌼 with other shoppers in the garden centre. We’ve had a wonderful day out with lovely weather. 🐷🌸

🧠 Brain activities are a huge thing, our residents enjoyed getting involved with the memory flip cards. The aim is to flip over 2 cards and match them, remembering where they were afterwards is the challenge. This activity brings plenty of laughter 😂 and competition. Keeping the brain busy is a great way to keep going. 🧠

🏃‍♀️ This morning has consisted of various exercises 🏃‍♀️everyone got involved which got us ready for the day ahead. Plenty of fun 🤩 and movement keeps the joints flowing. 🏃‍♀️

🌝 Yesterday we decided enough was enough and went all al fresco in the sun! Yes it was fish & chip Friday but they tasted so much better outside 😀🌝

🌼 Today we enjoyed the sunshine and the animals at Peak Wildlife Park.
We enjoyed seeing all the amazing variety of animals, a picnic and a cheeky ice-cream too 🌼🌼

🌼🌼 Our summer Fayre is fast approaching and we are kindly asking for your help to spread the word. We are looking for stall holders for various crafts, home bakes etc. we are also looking for Tombola & raffle prizes.
We are also welcoming stall holders who may want to sell their street food and also table top boot sale. A £5 donation to our residents comfort fund is all we are asking for 😀😀 please contact Dawn (the home manager) if you want to book a stall/space🌼🌼

🌼 Today we christened our new garden furniture in the ☀️ we soaked up the rays, drank fruity mocktails and admired our fabulous green fingered staff Clare and Kristina planting more fabulous plants along with a couple of our residents 🌼

🌼 What a busy few days we have had! Over the weekend we have been creating leaf 🍁 prints & pressing them in our art scrap book.
Then today we enjoyed our Tuesday morning church service. Then this afternoon we got our dancing shoes on listening, dancing 💃 & singing along to Jonny G. Safe to say we are all sleeping well tonight! 🌼
