Holidays ☀️ Back home from a relaxing break with my family.
We’ve enjoyed Paddle boarding, wild swimming, beach days & long walks.

All About Acupuncture ⭐️

Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine. It involves placing very fine sterile needles on specific points to relive pain, overcome dis-ease and bring the body into a balanced state.

Studies that date back 3000 years are based on the philosophy that Qi ‘vital energy’ flows through meridians just under the skin that transports energy throughout the body.

Qi can stagnate and become stuck, by working and stimulating points along the meridians balance can be restored.

Tuning fork 💫 sound therapy

I couldn’t help but notice in the latest season of ‘Tidying Up’ with Marie Kondo she uses crystals and tuning forks to cleanse & reset the space she lives and works in.

Sound therapy had been used for thousands of years to help release tension, move stagnant energy and promote emotional balance. Attuning the nervous system through point stimulation can be very grounding and a great addition to other complementary therapies such as reflexology & reiki.

Warm Bamboo Massage ✨ It won’t be long until I’m offering this wonderful treatment. Perfect for those clients who prefer a deep tissue massage.

Chinese, Indonesian, and Japanese cultures have long believed in the benefits withheld in bamboo, such as energy, longevity, and fertility.
In China, bamboo stalks still symbolise eternal youth, prosperity, strength and peace.

Bamboo massage is a technique that incorporates heated bamboo sticks of varying lengths and diameters to provide deep tissue work and to stretch and elongate the muscle fascia.

There are two main Bamboo massage techniques in practice today. The first technique was developed by French national Nathalie Cecilia who introduced warm bamboo massage to assist her with deep tissue work, she noticed that her pain subsided and her clients loved it.

Another technique, the Tian Di bamboo massage which means Heaven and Earth, was developed by massage therapist Ernesto Ortiz. He incorporated the principles from traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) into massage. The massage uses bamboo cut to varying lengths and the bamboo sticks or Cho sticks as they are called in this technique are used as an extension of the therapists’ hands, allowing them to work deeper.

Acupuncture ✨ This weekend I have finally begun to study Clinical Acupuncture based on the teachings of traditional Chinese Medicine.

I’ve always had a fascination with ancient methods of healing especially TCM it has effectively prevented, diagnosed and treated imbalances and diseases for over 3000 years.
I can’t wait to share more as the course continues…🙌

Celestite ✨ This beautiful crystal is a new addition to my therapy room it has a powerful uplifting energy and I’m hoping it will give my clients an extra dose of peace and tranquillity during their treatments.🙌

We have a date 🙌 I can’t wait to get back to hands on treatments and see all my clients again.

The 12th of April still seems a long way off and there are conditions attached to me being able to open but I’m feeling very optimistic✨

My Story

I am a Holistic Therapist specialising in Clinical Reflexology. I also offer Massage therapy, Reiki Healing, Fire Cupping and Facial Reflexology. Based in Wistaston South Cheshire it is convenient for Crewe Nantwich and surrounding areas. I have created a tranquil treatment room in my garden separate from my house with a side entrance. With 30 years experience working in health and wellness I have supported many clients with a wide range of concerns. My aim is to help, support and assist overall health and vitality. I do this by focusing on the root cause of the problem not just the symptoms. As a member of the Association of Reflexologists, continued professional development is a prerequisite, and on a personal level I feel it is important to engage in lifelong learning to expand upon my knowledge and skills, while keeping up to date with the latest developments in holistic healthcare. I have practiced yoga and meditation/mindfulness for many years, and passionately believe that we need to nurture ourselves, taking care of mind, body and spirit, in order to maintain balance and harmony within our lives. In addition to offering individual treatments, I teach Reiki with attunement at levels I & 2 and plan to hold various holistic workshops in the near future. My Clients come to see me for a variety of reasons; many for support with ongoing conditions and some because they want to take time out to relax and recharge.
