Our residents had a lovely outing to Minshull’s Garden Centre, enjoying time out in a beautiful setting, browsing plants, and spending quality time together. 🌸😊

A big thank you to Danielle for kindly coming in on her day off to support the trip and help make the day so special for our residents. 💛
Thank you also to Fatemeh and Nicu for all the organisation behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. 🌟
And a special thank you to Wheely Bus for providing safe and reliable transport for our residents throughout the day. 🚌

We’re pleased to invite family members to a supportive and informative Understanding Dementia – Family Talk Session 💬

📅 Wednesday 27th May
🕒 Morning or Afternoon (your preference)
⏱️ Duration: Approx. 1½ hours

This session will focus on understanding dementia and how it can affect your loved one, including:
• Changes in memory, behaviour, and communication
• Practical ways to support and respond with confidence
• Guidance on providing reassurance and reducing anxiety

There will also be time to ask questions and share experiences in a relaxed and supportive environment.

All family members are welcome, and we would be especially pleased if residents’ relatives are able to attend.

If you would like to join us, please let us know your preferred time (morning or afternoon).

Today at Bentley Manor, residents enjoyed a lovely hands-on activity in the garden 🌿☀️

We installed the bird boxes that they painted a few months ago 🐦🎨 and it was wonderful to see their creativity come to life outdoors. Everyone helped choose the best spots and supported the installation, creating a real sense of teamwork and achievement 🤝💚

We also spent time feeding the fish 🐟, enjoying the calm and peaceful garden setting while watching them gather at the surface.

A simple but meaningful day connecting with nature, encouraging creativity, and supporting wellbeing outdoors 🌼🌳

Today we celebrated National Tea Day with a lovely afternoon of tea and coffee shared together in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Residents and staff enjoyed a relaxed social time, with plenty of smiles, conversation, and a comforting selection of drinks.

A wonderful day out at Minshull Garden Centre 🌿🌸

Residents enjoyed exploring the beautiful plants and surroundings, followed by a lovely lunch together. It was a great opportunity to get some fresh air, socialise, and take in the vibrant colours of the season ☀️
Smiles, laughter, and a relaxed atmosphere made it a truly enjoyable outing for everyone 😊
