🆘We need your help!

We’re working in partnership with Holmes Chapel Parish Council to create, grow, and support opportunities for local children—and we’re launching a Youth Club!

We’re looking for volunteers to help us make it happen.

🗓️ Starting: January 2026
🕕 When: Thursday evenings, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
📍 Where: Holmes Chapel Community Centre
⏱️ Commitment: Just 2 hours a week, term-time only

If you’re interested in supporting local young people and can spare a couple of hours each week, please fill in our volunteer form.

⬇️ Come along in the morning to BBT 👶

Come along to BBT this Monday 20th October where there will be lots of fun for your little one. Craft, construction, dressing up, small world play, baby toys, books and singing.
£2 for one child and 50p for each additional child.
Snacks for the children, hot drinks for the adults.

If you would like your child's photograph taken by local photographer Gail Griggs who will be visiting us on 3rd November (and potentially 11th November) please add your name to the list today. There is no cost to have your child's photograph taken on the day but you can choose to purchase the photographs later, they will make a lovely Christmas gift for family and friends.

⬇️ Christmas fun at Bidlea 🎅🧑‍🎄

🎅🤶Christmas is coming to Bidlea! 🤶🎅
This year we have 2 different events to spread a little christmas cheer.

Story time with santa

On arrival you can write a letter to Santa and make some reindeer food with Jingles the Elf. Then its time for a Story with the big guy himself, where each child will receive a small gift. Finally a trip to Bidlea wouldn't be complete without a Diddy scoop of your favourite ice cream.

Cost £9.50 per child.

Gingerbread Decorating and crafts!

Come for a morning of christmas crafting. Decorate gingerbread with our very own Mrs Claus! Make a hot chocolate cone to take home, and decorate a finger print bauble to hang on your tree.

⬇️ After school on Monday 🎨

Messy Church this week will be finding out more about Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist.
School aged children are welcome to come along to join in the activities on Monday 13th October, 3.30-5.30pm.
There will be lots of activities including making a puppet of Elizabeth and Mary, angel biscuits and musical instruments.
The children will also be making decorations for the Messy Church Christmas tree for the Christmas Tree Festival.
At the end of the afternoon the children will enjoy a tasty tea.
