Yesterday, we dropped off all the toy donations to the Alice Charity.

Whilst the Centre will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day to give our staff a well earned break, we are conscious that for many Christmas can be a difficult time.

This year we will be trying to play a small part in trying to combat that and are working with a local resident and volunteers to provide a community gathering on Boxing Day from 1:30pm till 4pm in the cafe area of the Centre.

Whilst the cafe will not be open for normal service, it will be open for anyone who wants to come together during that period in a safe, warm and friendly space to meet up and have a chat over a hot drink with some friendly faces.

The Centre will be providing tea and coffee free of charge and we are hoping to provide mince pies and other sweet treats. If anyone is able to provide a small donation, or wants to come along on the day we would love to hear from you.

We hope this initiative will help play a small part in helping those who are struggling in our community this Christmas.
