✨ Welcome to our Lost Little Ones Space ✨

We wanted to reshare the link to this space. Christmas can be an incredibly difficult time for anyone experiencing loss.💜

Grief looks different for everyone, and all losses count. Whether you’re navigating fertility challenges or IVF, the loss of hopes and expectations, pregnancy loss, stillbirth, neonatal loss, or having to let your little one go. 🕊️

We see you. You are not alone. 💜

Please reach out if you need support.

🌙 Calling local parents - we need your tips for new parents!

We’re working with the hospital to support guidance from the Lullaby Trust for families who can’t or choose not to co-sleep for medical or safety reasons. The Lullaby Trust already share some helpful parent quotes, but we’d love to include real experiences from families here in our local community.

If you’ve found little tips or routines that helped you during night feeds or settling your baby, we’d be grateful to hear them. 💛

You can share your thoughts by:
✨ Commenting below
✨ Sending us a DM
✨ Emailing us if you’d like to include your name, your baby’s name/age, or a family photo

Your lived experience helps us create relatable, supportive resources for other parents in our community. Thank you for being part of this 💛

Honoured to have attended the Equitable Bereavement Care Conference 2025: Honouring Loss & Confronting Racial Disparities 💛

Central Cheshire Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership had the privilege of listening to powerful stories from bereaved parents, learning from dedicated birth workers and researchers, and connecting with communities working tirelessly to address inequity in perinatal bereavement care.

This event was a profound reminder of why lived experience must remain at the heart of everything we do. From confronting racial disparities in baby loss, to exploring culturally safe and affirming approaches to support, the day offered both reflection and hope.

Deep gratitude to all the speakers, parents, advocates and organisers who created a space grounded in compassion, truth, and collective action. We’re committed to carrying these conversations forward and continuing the work to ensure every family receives equitable, meaningful bereavement care. 🤍🕊️

🕊️ Honouring Baby Valentina 🕊️

At Central Cheshire Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership, we have created a special space on our website in memory of baby Valentina — a place of love, reflection and remembrance.

This dedicated space is for families who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a baby. Here, you are welcome to share your stories, photographs and treasured memories of your little ones gone too soon. Every baby matters. Every story matters.

No parent should ever have to suffer in silence. We hope this becomes a gentle, supportive place where grief is acknowledged, voices are heard, and love is honoured.
🤍

This space is designed specifically for bereaved parents to share their children openly and honestly. This means that sensitive images and stories relating to stillbirth, pregnancy loss, and babies who have sadly died after birth may be present. Please proceed with care if you are pregnant, recently bereaved, or feel this content may not be right for you at this time.

If you would like to share your own story, you can do so by submitting directly to us through the form on our website.

- Sands offers support to parents, siblings, grandparents, friends, and anyone else affected by baby loss. This includes a free, confidential helpline, email support, and online group sessions.

Hi everyone 👋

We’ve created a short anonymous survey to gather real parent feedback about experiences of stirrup use during birth — especially where they were used *without* an assisted delivery. The aim is to help staff understand how this feels for parents and discourage non-indicated use.

Please complete it yourself if your own experience is relevant, and share it within your networks or groups where others might want to contribute. It’s completely anonymous and takes under 5 minutes. Every story helps shape better practice 💛

Who are we? What do we do?

Central Cheshire Maternity Voices Partnership is a group of volunteers, health professionals and community organisations working in Cheshire to help make the services provided before, during and after pregnancy the best they possibly can be for each woman and her family.

We seek out the voices of those recently or currently using the local maternity services and share these stories back to the health providers in the Cheshire area. Working collaboratively with the providers and local organisations our goal is to make all voices heard, and use these to impact change.

We want individual centred care, and use the Better Births and the Local Maternity Service Plan as guidance.

Please get in touch if you would like to be involved in any way. If you would like to share your story please know that you will always be listened to, and treated with the upmost respect.
