A few highlights of of what's been happening at Hollymere House the last few weeks. Lots of quizzes, bingo, bowling, darts and crafts, flower arranging and singing and dancing along to entertainment with Vicky from musical moments and Tony Boyle. 😍🎶💃 Church service with Linda and pet therapy with Clive, Viv and lottie. 😁 and now the weather is getting better the residents enjoyed getting out in the garden. ☺️🌞

Hollymere House recently enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment with Vicky from musical moments and her lovely daughter, who the residents loved. 😍 They delivered a wonderful Easter Themed Show and got the residents, laughing, singing and dancing in their seats. 🎶👯💃👑❤️👏👏👏

A few highlights of our Easter week of activities here at Hollymere House.
Easter creativie arts and crafts,🐰🐇🐣🥚 Easter quizzes, games, Pet Therapy visit, Out door fun in the garden and qreat entertainment with Brit who had our residents singing and dancing along to her Easter Show. 🎶💃

Hollymere House had Friday fun celebrating Red Nose Day😊 in the morning our residents participated in a spot of cake decorating, and produced some awesome designs. In the afternoon we had a party, music and games, Big thank you to our nurse assist Cee Cee who baked us a lovey cake and Jo our senior carer whose daughter baked some biscuits for the occasion. And a big thankyou to our kitchen staff who made a lovely red themed buffet, and
to all the staff who made an effort to wear red and join in the fun. 👏👏

Hollymere House combined 2 celebrations yesterday as it was St Patrick's Day and one of our very special ladies birthday. Plenty of Irish music, games and a little party for the birthday girl. 🎂🎶😍

Hollymere House recently had the lovely Vicky from musical moments delivered us a fun filled afternoon, and our residents loved it. 😁 They were certainly in the mood for dressing up, singing, playing instruments and gentle exercise, And a wee drink or two😉🎶🍷🍺🍻 😍 😂 today we had a lovely morning getting creative with crafts and an afternoon of exercise and games which became very competitive.🎨 🎯😳

At Hollymere House on Wednesday our residents were eyes down for a game of prize bingo in the morning and it was a full house in the afternoon for our visit from Tony Boyle. Everyone sang along and joined in and had a lovely time. One of our ladies has been busy knitting hats so she can donate them to our local hospital for the new born babies, so she was happy with her achievements and is starting on blankets next. Well done Janet. ❤️👏👏👏

Hollymere House had two special days recently, on Tuesday we celebrated Chinese new year, and our nurse Nova took time from her duties to prepare and cook a lovely Chinese menu which our residents loved. Thursday we were entertained by the lovely Brit, she sang a variety of songs and danced and had everyone singing along. ❤️

A few highlights of another busy week at Hollymere House, plenty of creativity with arts and crafts, fun with various games, pet therapy visit, church service and on Tuesday a spot of home baking, with pancakes 🥞 of course😁 Thanks to our wonderful kitchen team we had a lovely Chinese buffet prepared and delivered whilst we were having a few games of bingo😋 👏 👏 👏 and we had a break from bowling to celebrate one of our lovely ladies birthday. 🎳 🎂 😍

We held a Valentines Fayre and Afternoon Tea for our residents and family members on Saturday. We had raffle prizes, tombola prizes and a booze or lose stall and many happy faces. Big shout out to Paula, Chris, Yvonne, Jayne, Linda and Diane who helped save the day. 👏 👏 😁 The support you guys keep giving is amazing. And a special thank you to other family members who keep giving donations , turn up and give support, it's thanks to you guys we were able to add more money to our residents fund. 👏 👏 There was definitely lots of love in the air. Hope you all had a good time and we are looking forward to our next fayre. ❤️

Another day filled with love at Hollymere House, some of our residents enjoyed a morning of flower arranging whilst listening to some classic love songs of the Decades🌹🎶. We had a lot of laughs and fun and they all did some very nice displays for our home, only stopping for a well earned cup of tea and a read of the daily chat.☕📖 They all decided to spread the love by presenting our newly appointed manager Vicky with a vase to brighten up her office and welcome her our home. 🌷🌹🥀🪻She came in to thank them and ended up getting top marks in the quiz we were doing. 👏👏 They all commented it was a lovely morning and we should do it more often, 👌😁😍

The past 2 day's at Hollymere House have not only been productive with an valentines art and craft session🎨♥️, but we've also started back our knit and natter class. 😁🧶 A few of our gentlemen were keen to give it a try, much to the amusement of our ladies, and I must say they mastered using the knitting machines. 😍 We listened to a mixture of love songs from the 70's,80's and 90's and had fun reminiscing about valentines day and past experience's of it. 😂 We're all looking forward to valentines day as we are having a valentines fayre and afternoon tea party to make up for having to cancel our Christmas one. We hope most of our family members will be able to join us to celebrate this special day ❤️ and anyone reading this post, you will all be welcome to come and share the love🤗 2.00 till 4.00
