Last week, our Be Well Manchester and colleagues from the Crewe office held a Macmillan Coffee Morning bake sale.
It was a great way to catch up over coffee and cake, while raising £100 for Macmillan Cancer Support

As it’s Menopause Awareness Month, yesterday our Physical Health Specialist Colleen ran a Women’s Health & Menopause Workshop for Manchester participants on the Work and Health Programme, all about empowering women with practical ways to manage menopause and feel their best.

She will also be delivering an online session for our Support to Succeed participants soon helping even more women access support in a relaxed, supportive space.

This year’s theme highlights the mental health impact of repeated exposure to crisis and conflict in the news.

If the news and constant headlines feel overwhelming, it’s okay to take a step back.
Try limiting how often you check the news, stick to trusted sources, and balance it with things that make you feel calm and connected.

Let’s look after our minds as well as we look after each other.

A proud moment for Pathways CIC!

Today, we were delighted to welcome Connor Naismith MP , Labour MP for Crewe and Nantwich, to our offices to recognise our achievement in being awarded a Princess Royal Training Award.

It was a real pleasure to meet Connor, who took the time to learn more about the work we do and how this aligns with local and national policies. We were thrilled (and surprised) to learn that Connor has placed an early day motion, laid in Parliament today, recognising Pathways CIC’s exceptional achievements in being awarded a Princess Royal Training Award for its exceptional evidence based training and skills development programme for work and health.

We’re incredibly proud of this, a true testament to our ongoing commitment to helping health professionals link health, work & wellbeing to reduce inequalities.

Next Tuesday (7th October) our MCHFT Social Prescribing Team will be joined by Beacon Counselling Trust at Leighton Hospital Crossroads from 1pm-4pm.

BCT is a North West based charity providing education, treatment and support for anyone affected by gambling related harm.

This will be a great opportunity to find out more about support available and chat with the team in a safe, informal setting.

Everyone is welcome so please come along and say hello!
