I’m often asked if I have the aesthetic treatments I provide myself.
Whenever possible - yes I do! As a woman from Generation X, I didn’t grow up with social media, and so I probably place higher value on my own personal experience. I am well aware of the rapid loss of collagen, which I think of as giving my skin scaffolding, happening in my age group. I therefore want to make sure that I offer aesthetic treatments that help to maintain healthy skin and look natural that I would have myself.
It’s not about the ‘frozen face’, or looking like a different person - it’s about getting hydration and ‘snap’ back into the skin.
So when I went for my Sunekos training last autiumn, I didn’t just take notes, and have practical experience of giving the treatment - I had the treatment myself. I knew I had to experience the results firsthand before offering it to clients.
Sunekos is an injectable treatment which is a sophisticated blend of amino acids and hyaluronic acid that actually tells your skin to produce new collagen and elastin. Having undergone the sessions myself, I can personally vouch for the incredible boost in skin texture and hydration.
Having the treatment myself means that I can describe the sensation of the treatment accurately.
One of the reasons I chose to train in Sunekos is its incredible versatility. It isn’t just for facial rejuvenation; it’s a ‘multitasker’ for the whole body. I can use it to treat:
* The Eyes: Reduce dark circles and crepey lower lids.
* The Neck & Décolletage: To smooth out those ‘tech-neck’ lines and chest wrinkles.
* The Hands: To restore that youthful ‘plump’ and hide prominent veins.
