Meet Charlotte Horton 👋🏼

Charlotte is one of our lovely Hygienists! 🤍

Charlotte joined the practice in March 2020 and works one day a week with us.
Charlotte qualified in 2015 from Bristol University, obtaining her Diploma in dental hygiene, and then qualifying in acupuncture and whitening. Charlotte is a keen promoter of oral health and will talk you through all the best methods to keep your gums and teeth healthy.
In her spare time, charlotte enjoys reading, yoga and crocheting.

Meet Stephanie Zapolski 👋🏼

Therapist | Hygienist | Principal Owner

Stephanie is the dual owner of Cheshire Dental Centre as well as being our resident dental hygienist/therapist. Stephanie embarked upon her career as a qualified dental nurse, which opened the doorway to other career options within the dental field. Stephanie took the pathway to hygiene and therapy after gaining her dimploma in hygiene and therapy in 2008, then choosing to carry out her clinical placement in Crewe.
From then, she focussed on her ambition for opening her own practice. Stephanie became the owner of Cheshire Dental Centre in 2010 and began her partnership with Dr. Bijan Barfaraz in 2015. Since then she has taken the practice from strength to strength, offering a wide range of cosmetic treatments alongside routine dentistry.

Meet Dr Danielle Smyth 👋🏼

Since graduating from King’s College London 2014, Danielle has honed her skills whilst working in general practice across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, delivering both Private and NHS dental care.
She is passionate about providing high quality aesthetic restorative dentistry, including saving teeth with root canal treatments and improving patients’ smile concerns using methods such as; whitening, composite bonding, porcelain veneers, crowns and bridges.
She achieved her Post-graduate Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics, with Aspire Dental Academy in 2024. Danielle is also able to offer her patients cosmetic Orthodontic treatments, as she has attended training courses with IAS academy, and can provide ClearCorrect aligners. Danielle’s priority is to be able to provide a variety of dental solutions which most suit her patients’ needs and to do this to a high quality standard in a kind, caring manner.
In her spare time, she likes spending time with her friends and family, reading, going to the gym and hiking with her husband and very lively dog!

Meet Dr. Bijan Barfaraz 👋🏼

Principal Dentist | Owner

Bijan joined the team at Cheshire Dental Centre in November 2015 as an associate dental surgeon and is now the joint owner here.
Bijan graduated as a General Dental Practitioner and has gained his PhD in Pediatric Dentistry, alongside a PG in Endodontics at Chester University, a PG in Implantology at Leipzig University, which he now specialises in. After 4 years in Dubai, Bijan focused upon his aesthetic dentistry with smile makeovers and full-mouth restorations including veneers, crowns & implants.

This patient wanted a result that blended seamlessly - no “fake” look — just a healthy, confident natural smile.

Treatment included a lower metal denture, upper extractions to allow placement of a 6-unit bridge, alongside 3 crowns and white composite fillings, all carefully planned for a realistic, natural finish.
