Mary aged 78 years from Wybunbury and formally from Audlem passed away following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family whilst in the care of staff at Alexandra Mill Care Home. The much loved wife of Brian, devoted mum to Jayne and Paul, loving Nanna to Kealey and Josh, a much loved sister and friend to many, Mary will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Her funeral service will be held at Crewe Crematorium Chapel on Friday 17th October at 12:15pm.

Family flowers only please with donations in lieu to the Alexandra Mill Staff and Residents Fund.

The Shavington St Luke’s Hospice Support Group recently held a Pea and Pie supper to raise funds for the hospice. This was followed by an
Auction of lots of items brought in by all those attending. Funeral director Steven Linde who is a member of the Shavington committee was the auctioneer . The event raised over £800 for the hospice. Steven Linde is pictured with the chair of the Committee Elizabeth Davies-Allman and the star auction gift - a bottle of Islay single malt whisky.

A funeral today for a gentleman who loved the countryside. He cared about the environment so his wife chose an eco-friendly wicker coffin made from sustainable willow grown in the UK.
He also won many awards for his prize flowers so it was only fitting that the coffin was decorated with flowers.

Recycled cardboard picture coffins (seaside sunset / garden flowers) and handmade English willow suitable for burial or eco-friendly cremations. Choose these for reduced greenhouse emissions, reduced air pollution, and fewer trees used in manufacturing as willow is sustainable and regrows quickly. ❤️🌳🌲🌺
