April & May Race Report – LW Sports Therapy Athletes 🏃♂️🔥
It’s been an outstanding couple of months for our LW Sports Therapy sponsored athletes, with performances across marathons, ultras, trail races, triathlon, and even the world stage in combat sport.
delivered a huge double, starting with a superbly executed 3:29 at the Manchester Marathon — perfectly paced and controlled from start to finish. She then backed it up with an incredible effort at the Pennine Barrier 50-mile ultra, taking on nearly 10,000ft of elevation. A serious display of endurance and resilience.
At the Boston (UK) Marathon, conditions were far from ideal with strong winds throughout, but Chris Pidgeon, ,and all put in solid performances and showed great determination on a tough day. Lewis continued his strong form by lining up again at Race 3 of the Spring Treble at the Stone Common Trail Race, alongside , both putting in great efforts on the trails as Rachel trains for some big upcoming events
made a late call to enter the Manchester Marathon and executed a smart, controlled race — a great example of trusting experience and pacing.
took things international, competing in the Middle Distance Triathlon at the European Championships in Alsdorf, finishing 14th in his age category — a fantastic achievement to be racing at that level.
And to round things off, represented GB on the world stage with an incredible 5th place finish at the Sambo World Championships in Armenia — an outstanding result against elite global competition.
Absolutely brilliant work from the whole team — proud of every single one of you.
