Time for a little R&R before the start of the autumn term.

Tomorrow's session (August 20th) will be our last for the summer season.
We will be closed for one week over the late August bank holiday.
Our first session at the start of the Autumn season will be on Wednesday 3rd September.

Ten years ago, on Wednesday the 12th of August, I led our first session of Breathe Better Sing Together. I had great support from the physios running the Pulmonary Rehab Course at Eagle Bridge, my Church Music Course leader at Christchurch Canterbury University, and my singing teacher, Chris Cragg of Arena Studio.
Do come along and help us celebrate this milestone, at the closest session to the date, Wednesday 13th August, at All Saints' church hall, Stewart Street, Crewe, CW2 8AR.
If you would like to help choose the songs for that session, come and join us tomorrow from 2.30 pm at the same place.
It would be lovely to see you there.

We had a lovely time away, but it's great to be back too.
While we were sailing around Scandinavia, an email came in from the Asthma and Lung UK charity about a forthcoming webinar on bronchiectasis. Details as below:

Having another little break before we get stuck into the summer and race towards our 10th birthday.

This coming Wednesday, the 21st May, will be our last session before we take a couple of week's break over the bank holiday.
We will be back again on 11th June, ready for our summer session.
Do come and join us from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm for a singalong session that can help improve your breathing. It would be great to see you there.

We're back singing this week, tomorrow from 2.30 to 3.30 pm at All Saints' church hall, Crewe, CW2 8AR

Please note, roadworks are closing part of Stewart Street, from Clyde Grove to Gainsborough Road, for gully jetting works from Wednesday to Friday this week.
If you are travelling from Joey the Swan and the south, you will need to follow a diversion along Readesdale Avenue, Moreton Road and Alton Street.
If you are travelling from the north and the centre of town, the road works should not affect you.

Hope you're having a great Easter weekend, whatever the weather.
After a hectic Holy Week, we're having a week off now. So our next singing session is on Wednesday 30th April.
In the meantime, don't eat too much chocolate before you sing - it really messes up the vocal chords.
