We're in the season for carols and winter classics now, taking a break from our usual fare of popular songs.
Our last session for 2025 will be on Christmas Eve, 24th December.
We return on 7th January to start off 2026, after a week off.

Here's an interesting new research project from Kings College London investigating living with breathlessness. It's inviting people who are 50 or over, living with breathlessness due to a physical health condition, and have ever felt left out, isolated or lonely because of breathlessness.
You would need to take photos showing your experiences of social connection and loneliness over 2 weeks, and discuss your top five photos with a researcher in an interview.

Congratulations!
Thanks for being such a great host to our singing group, All Saints'

Sixty years ago today, Bishop Gerald of Chester consecrated the newly built All Saints Church.

Join us on World COPD Day, Wednesday 19th November at 6pm for our first ever COPD Webinar.

We are delighted to have Professor John Hurst presenting on “COPD – What does good care look like?”.
He will be speaking about his latest research, as well as how to empower yourself to get the best care for COPD.
Professor Hurst is a professor of respiratory medicine at University College London, and honorary consultant respiratory physician at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust where he has worked since 2007. His expertise is in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency and lung problems in people living with primary immunodeficiency states including bronchiectasis and GLILD.

Tomorrow's session (August 20th) will be our last for the summer season.
We will be closed for one week over the late August bank holiday.
Our first session at the start of the Autumn season will be on Wednesday 3rd September.

Ten years ago, on Wednesday the 12th of August, I led our first session of Breathe Better Sing Together. I had great support from the physios running the Pulmonary Rehab Course at Eagle Bridge, my Church Music Course leader at Christchurch Canterbury University, and my singing teacher, Chris Cragg of Arena Studio.
Do come along and help us celebrate this milestone, at the closest session to the date, Wednesday 13th August, at All Saints' church hall, Stewart Street, Crewe, CW2 8AR.
If you would like to help choose the songs for that session, come and join us tomorrow from 2.30 pm at the same place.
It would be lovely to see you there.

This coming Wednesday, the 21st May, will be our last session before we take a couple of week's break over the bank holiday.
We will be back again on 11th June, ready for our summer session.

We're back singing this week, tomorrow from 2.30 to 3.30 pm at All Saints' church hall, Crewe, CW2 8AR

Please note, roadworks are closing part of Stewart Street, from Clyde Grove to Gainsborough Road, for gully jetting works from Wednesday to Friday this week.
If you are travelling from Joey the Swan and the south, you will need to follow a diversion along Readesdale Avenue, Moreton Road and Alton Street.
If you are travelling from the north and the centre of town, the road works should not affect you.
