⚠️ I was recently interviewed by Greatest Hits Radio about highlighting how councils are beginning to inspect aesthetic premises across Somerset.

This step comes at a crucial time. Too many people are being exposed to serious risks, infections, skin damage, and long-term complications. Often in unclean environments run by individuals without the right qualifications.

What may seem like a simple or low-cost treatment can quickly turn into a life-changing problem.

By shining a light on this issue, we are raising awareness of the very real dangers, the gaps in regulation, and the urgent need for consistent standards.

We fully welcome council spot inspections and stronger enforcement to protect the public and put an end to “cowboy” operators who put profit before safety.

This is not about discouraging people from seeking treatments, but about ensuring that every choice is made with confidence, safety, and the highest professional standards at its core.

Before & After: Deep Frown Line Correction ✨

This patient came to me with a deeply set glabellar frown line, caused by years of repeated muscle movement. It was starting to affect their self-esteem — but we were able to restore confidence using ultrasound-guided dermal filler.

🔍 Why facial ultrasound?
The glabella and forehead are high-risk areas for filler because of nearby arteries — including the supratrochlear, supraorbital, and dorsal nasal arteries. These vessels can vary from person to person, and blindly injecting here can lead to serious complications such as losing eyesight.

Using real-time facial ultrasound, I precisely mapped the area to avoid these vessels and safely place the filler. The result: a smoother, more relaxed look — and a much happier patient 🫶
