A few snaps of .goodliffe and .wise.agility at their first training session for the week.

On the agenda today with just a few weeks left before the world championships our focus today was compound strength exercises, core and a nice little 300 metre run, amrap style. For 4 rounds.

Challenging strength and cardiovascular fitness and requiring plenty of grit, especially during the 4th round.

These guys are getting to the point where its getting harder to challenge them!

And back to regular eating again!! πŸ˜‹

I always find holidays both amazing and a marathon too, in terms of eating...

I have a husband who's a foody and loves to eat amazing food. I prefer things a little more simple and so eating out 3 times a day can be a real challenge for me when we go to Devon. We combated it this year with eating a good breakfast and then walking through lunch to have a fab dinner.

Im pleased to be back to my staples this week 😁

So here we go...... my back has been feeling really good for 16 days now and im going to start testing it with a VERY sl...

So here we go...... my back has been feeling really good for 16 days now and im going to start testing it with a VERY slow jogging programme, in the hope that I can start getting my cardio/agility fitness back for competition.

Baby baby steps happening here... with a slow 6x30 second jog and 2 minute walk with a 5 minute warm up and cool down either side.

Im taking things this slowly to build up strength and resilience in my back but also all of my joints. I havnt run for some time and its been 2 and a half years since my l5s1 nerve damage. Im a little apprehensive but excited to see what happens at the same time.

Its vital to build up slowly and get ankles, knees and the whole body used to the high impact requirements of running. So here goes.

Felt good today, a little heavier breathing was needed around interval 5 and 6 but all in all. Feeling fab.😊
