Crickhowell Group Practice Flu clinics 2025

Crickhowell Group Practice along with their partners Crickhowell Estates Ltd, Glangrwyney Cricket Club and Crickhowell Voluntary Bureau will run 2 drive through Flu clinics at the former army camp Cwrt-y-Gollen site in October 2025.

Bookings for the clinic will open from 10.00am on Monday the 28 July 2025

You are eligible to receive the vaccine at this site if you are
• 65 years or older
• Aged 18 or over is included in a clinical risk group you will be invited,
This Includes patients diagnosed with Chronic respiratory disease, such as COPD or asthma ( that requires continuous or repeated use of inhaled or systemic steroids) , Chronic heart disease, Chronic kidney disease, Chronic neurological disease, Diabetes, splenic dysfunction or asplenia, a weakened immune system and those who are morbidly obese (BMI 40 and above)
• chronic (long-term) respiratory disease, such as asthma (requires continuous or repeated use of inhaled or systemic steroids or with previous exacerbations requiring hospital admission), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or bronchitis
• chronic heart disease, such as heart failure
• chronic kidney disease at stage 3, 4 or 5
• chronic liver disease
• chronic neurological disease, such as Parkinson’s disease or motor neurone disease
• learning disability
• diabetes
• splenic dysfunction or asplenia
• a weakened immune system due to disease (such as HIV/AIDS) or treatment (such as cancer treatment)
• morbidly obese (defined as BMI of 40 and above)

SURGERY CLOSED/STAFF TRAINING - Please be reminded the surgery will be closed tomorrow afternoon Tuesday 1st July 25 from 12.30 for staff training, we will re open again on Wednesday 2nd July @ 8.30am. Out of hours service are available should you need a GP - Thank you
