Reflexology and the language of the feet 👣❤️👣
Reflexologist Chris Stomer and the fantastic work she has achieved in the field of modern Reflexology is one of the reasons I become so fascinated and fell in love with this wonderful healing art … gosh there is so much depth to
Reflexology- In essence it is a simple therapy really , but it does take you on a journey for sure - and the simplicity comes when one has understood and spent quality time practicing its depths ❤️
For those who are equally interested , here are sone of her notes, her thoughts, interpretation and insight’s into Reflexology amd the endocrine - hormonal system
Enjoy 🐾💕🐾

The endocrine system is the orchestra of the body with each gland playing its part to ensure inner harmony for the synchronisation of all organs and their systems. Hormonal secretions depend on the co-operation of three physical aspects
• The condition of the gland and its capacity to produce hormones
• The state of all blood vessels for the conveyance of hormones from source to targets
• Circumstances surrounding the target cells for hormonal absorption and utilisation.
Furthermore, each gland is related to a particular colour and element that play an important role in balancing and harmonising.
So let’s meet the orchestra:
The HYPOTHALAMUS - violet - ether - big toes although not an endocrine gland as such, is the composer continually assessing the overall tone and temperament of mind and body to determine the hormonal adjustments required for the most favourable composure and composition of the whole.
PITUITARY GLAND - violet - ether - big toes - the master gland and conductor of the endocrine orchestra, guiding all the other glands, encouraging them to secrete more or less hormones, or speed up or slow down secretions as required and so on. Its reflexes are immediately above the joints on the inner edges of both big toes, which combined reflect the centre of the head.
PINEAL GLAND - indigo - in we go! - ether - big toes and second toes. Since it functions according to the amount of light entering the eyes (connected to the second toes) and is situated nearby the pituitary gland, massage all related reflexes for greater insight and to regulate the body's cycles. These symbols, connected to the Universal, keep the momentum going and provide crystal clear clarity especially when in the dark.
THYROID GLAND - blue - ether / air exchange - expression - inner creases of toe necks. Massaging these reflexes provides the space to express the authentic self. Representing the wind instrument of the magical flute it helps to set the spirit free to express itself openly and expansively
THYMUS GLAND - green - air – second toes - seat of the Soul – feelings – belief in the self - radiates the inner essence and in so doing boosts the immune system. Situated on the inner edges midway along both balls of the feet, this gland is like the percussion instrument of the soul resonating lovingly throughout to fill the whole with its unique essence
ADRENAL GLANDS - yellow – fire – third toes - actions and reactions - provide the courage manifest one’s own awesome and extra-ordinary concepts. Immediately below the third toes, just beneath the hollows of the solar plexus reflexes, with the right adrenal reflex being slightly further in towards the edge of the right foot and a fraction down because of the liver reflex. These gutsy tubular-like instruments ensure sufficient tension and drum up excitement and enthusiasm for the next daring step into the unknown.
PANCREAS – yellow – fire – third toes – actions and reactions – extract the joy and pleasure from personal achievements. Its tadpole reflexes stretch across central portions of the upper halves of the insteps, just above the waistline of the feet, representing the rejoicing of the pleasures of life through bells and chimes.
OVARIES - female s*x organs – orange – water – communications and relationships – fourth toes - producing concepts that stem from the mind and manifest in the body for further developments. These reflexes, representing the strings of creativity, are situated beneath the fourth toes just above the line where the lower halves and heels meet.
TE**ES – male reproductive organs – red – earth – family and society – little toes. They like to blow their own trumpet and test the ground providing the tone of the body.
Here’s to harmony and joy every step of the way!
