One for your diary - One of Britain's finest nature spectaculars!
Once a year around mid April, North Meadow, (just 0.5 miles from Cricklade town centre, Wiltshire) is turned into a blaze of colour by fritillaries blooming on this ancient meadow. Because of flooding there were no significant displays in the past 2 years.
Around 80% of Britain's Snakeshead Fritillaries grow here.
PRESENT STATUS - Meadows are dry, no shows yet but expecting displays from around 3rd week in April, Further updates will be posted at www.greatbritishgardens.co.uk/wiltshire/item/cricklade-fritillaries.html

Thank you to our wonderful patients for their loyalty to the practice during 2024 and we look forward to being able to help you and the wider community in 2025.

We wish you all a very happy Christmas and a healthy 2025.

When not in clinic our Principal Osteopath Kelly Haines still works as a freelance French Horn player. Yesterday she was playing Holst’s “The Planets” at Gloucester Cathedral under an amazing art installation. A giant, revolving replication of Mars hanging into the nave. A magnificent sight and a perfect setting.

Where does she get her energy from? When she’s not in clinic treating patients Honor is out training for an epic mountainous half Marathon she’s running next month.
She’s just completed a ‘warm up’ training half marathon plus she’s strength training and running most days.

Lucky that she’s an expert in keeping her muscles and joints in tip top conditions. 🏋🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️

If you’re a runner and need some help then Honor is your Osteopath!! 💪🏼

What we do

Thank you for visiting our page. We are a small, friendly osteopathic practice that has been treating patients in Cricklade and the surrounding areas for just under 40 years. While we don’t claim to be able to treat everything or everyone, osteopathy can often help more conditions than people realise. As well as the common back pain, sciatica and sports injuries, these include headaches arising from the neck, migraine prevention, circulatory problems and conditions affecting babies and children. For a full list of what we can treat please go to https://www.crickladeosteopaths.com/why-osteopathy

All osteopaths complete a four or five year degree course at one of the established osteopathic colleges. Many of the subjects covered are similar to those of medical schools, such as anatomy, neurology, orthopaedics, physiology and pathophysiology. These subjects, along with many hours of practical training lead to a BSc degree in Osteopathy. This training ensures that we are able to check for signs of conditions Osteopathy cannot treat and will refer you to your GP or specialist if we suspect any such conditions.

As important as the hands-on treatment, is the individual advice that the osteopath will give each patient to improve their health long term. This holistic approach may include advice regarding posture, work ergonomics, diet and lifestyle along with corrective exercises programmes.

Please feel free to message or call us if you would like to discuss an appointment and how we could help you. We would love to hear from you.
