This elderly patient was not happy with the broken crown (cap) and the fact it was too light in colour. He also wore a denture for the gap next to the crown and wanted something fixed in so he didn’t have to take it out ( but not an implant).
He didn’t want any cosmetic work to any of his other teeth due to his age.

What did we do?
We simply removed the broken crown very carefully, and made him a fixed bridge in a more natural colour to suit his age.

He could now bin his plastic denture & enjoy eating again without worrying the denture will drop out.

Apart from the mandatory medical emergencies training we are meant to do yearly, we also do our own in-house simulation where we make learning fun.

Here is Dr Tej Mellachervu pretending to have collapsed in the waiting room relying on his exceptional staff to help him out!

Dr Rebekah Hadley is on hand with the defibrillator and receptionists Shirley and Juliet pretending to do chest compressions and administering oxygen.

Nurse Nilopher in the background is waiting for the pretend ambulance she has pretended to call. 😀😀😀
