Wilhelmina (Mina) of Sharlston Common passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Monday 25th August 2025 aged 76 years. The cherished partner of John, devoted mum of Darrell, Sean, Deborah, Michelle and Lee, much loved grandma and great grandma. Mina will be sadly missed by all her loving family and many friends.

The service and cremation will be held at Pontefract Crematorium on Tuesday 23rd September at 11.00am. Philip of Normanton aged 58 years died suddenly at home on Sunday 24th August 2025. The beloved son of Peter and the late Bernie and very dear brother of Mick. Phil will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Yesterday we had the honour of conducting Tony Harkin's funeral. Tony's family said that two of his favourite things were Only Fools and Horses and Tunnocks Tea Cakes. Needless to say their wish was our command. Rest in Peace Tony.

Jean of Streethouse (formerly of Grimethorpe), passed away peacefully at Pinderfields Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday 17th August 2025, aged 80 years. Beloved wife of Trevor, much-loved mum of Sherrell and Andrew, dear sister of Kenny and Pat, loving sister-in-law to Jean, and cherished Nanna of Mia. Jean was also a dear friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all her loving family and friends.
