Yesterday was National Tea Day 🍵 and some of our residents enjoyed sampling a selection of flavoured teas. It sparked lots of conversation and laughter! The favourites were split right down the middle between strawberry tea 🍓 and spearmint tea 🌿 — though it’s fair to say not every flavour went down quite so well 😄. A fun and memorable tasting all round!

What a lovely music session yesterday 🎻✨ Rachel’s beautiful violin playing had residents tapping their fingers and singing along to tunes they recognised. So heartwarming to see everyone joining in and enjoying the moment together — a truly lovely session enjoyed by all 💛🎶

Today we celebrated our wonderful resident Brian’s birthday 🎉🎂
Happy Birthday was sung, candles were blown out, and everyone enjoyed some yummy cake. Brian also loved opening his presents and sharing the special moment with everyone.
A lovely day full of smiles, laughter, and celebration 💙🎁

A lovely start to the morning with a small group of residents enjoying armchair yoga 🪑🧘‍♀️
A great reminder of how important it is to keep moving—even while seated—and to use breathing techniques to help ground ourselves and feel calm.

Friday was fruit day at our home! 🍓🫐🍑 Residents had a tasty choice: raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, or apricots. A tray went around so everyone could sample and chat about old favorites. The conversations were sweet and sparked memories from days gone by.

Also Big thanks to Pearl and June for teaming up to brighten our space with beautiful flower arrangements. Their collaboration added color and warmth to our halls, and sparked stories about gardens and special occasions from years past. 🌷🌼

What a lovely way to end the year with a session with Twinkle Toes Norfolk . The joy from the little children brightened our day, and we’re so grateful for this precious connection that lets our residents interact with young generations.

A big thank you to Friend in Deed for helping make this possible. Your support makes meaningful, intergenerational moments like this happen.

Happy Birthday, Trish!

Today, our lovely Trish celebrated her birthday. We surprised her with a delightful cake, beautiful flowers, and a few thoughtful presents. Her reaction was priceless.

A huge thank you to our amazing staff for putting on such a wonderful Christmas Day for our residents 🎄✨
There was festive music filling the room, delicious food and drinks enjoyed, and special presents delivered by Santa himself 🎅🎁
Most of all, there were lots of smiles, laughter, and Christmas cheer. A truly special day made possible by a fantastic team ❤️

What a wonderfully festive afternoon yesterday! 🎄✨
Our residents had the best time enjoying Christmas fun with Mr Bob, plus a special visit from our very own living Christmas tree – our manager Katie! Lots of Christmas songs were sung, plenty of dancing was had, and the room was filled with smiles, laughter, and festive cheer. A truly magical way to celebrate the season together ❤️🎶🕺💃

🎄✨ Some of our residents have been busy decorating Christmas cakes, getting creative with icing, sprinkles, and plenty of smiles. The room was filled with laughter, teamwork, and that wonderful Christmas spirit — and the cakes look (almost) too good to eat! 🍰❤️

Today, Carol and Pearl had the pleasure of visiting Taverham High School. They enjoyed listening to a book story reading, tackling a fun quiz, and decorating rocket-shaped cookies. It was a delight to chat with the students and share in the day’s activities.
