Another amazing photoshoot!
We spent a fab afternoon playing hair and makeup, then it was round to North Lodge Park for the official carnival 'Royal Family' photos.
Huge thanks to Beckie - beautiful dresses, Jess from of Flowers - stunning bouquets, Ali for amazing hair (as always!) & Andreas and Hubba - brilliant photos.

‼ If you are out and about enjoying the glorious weather over the coming days - be warned that UV levels are HIGH and sun damage can occur in a matter of minutes!

‼️ Turning any kind of pink or red or brown is a warning sign from your skin that damage is occurring beneath the surface! Damage is cumulative and irreparable and is the direct cause of 90% of the UK’s most common cancer.

‼️ If you are responsible for children make certain you pay special attention to keeping them safe - their delicate skin is highly susceptible to sun damage and sunburn. Make sure they have access to a sun hat and sunscreen during the school day, where they are outside during peak UV hours!

☀ ENJOY the sun SAFELY by following our sun protection tips:

☀ Cover up with clothing! Clothing is the FIRST line of defence against UV and should cover as much skin as possible. Ensure shoulders at an absolute minimum are covered at all times with a T-shirt!

☀ Apply SPF30+ sunscreen with 4 or 5 star UVA protection, LIBERALLY and EVENLY 20 minutes before venturing outdoors, then reapply another coat to ensure even and adequate coverage.

☀ Reapply sunscreen AT LEAST every 2 hours, more often if perspiring and ALWAYS straight after swimming!

☀ Don’t be fooled by SPF in cosmetic products such as moisturisers or foundations - they DO NOT provide adequate protection!

☀ Wear a wide brimmed sun hat to protect your scalp and provide shade to the face, neck, ears, cheeks and eyes.

😎 Keep your shades on! Our eyes are up to 10 times more sensitive to UV damage than our skin! Failing to protect them puts your eye health and vision at risk!

☀ Seek shade whenever possible - especially during peak UV hours 11am-3pm. BABIES AND TODDLERS SHOULD BE SHADED AT ALL TIMES.
