Today we mark two important moments in our NHS calendar, Overseas NHS Workers Day and Staff Appreciation Day. Both speak to something at the heart of Frimley Health: we are only Frimley Health because of the people who choose to work here, wherever in the world their journey began.

Our trust has always been shaped by colleagues from across the globe, bringing different skills, experiences and perspectives into one shared team. 36% of our workforce have left family, friends and familiar places to care for people you have never met, in communities that have become your second home.

That is an extraordinary act of commitment. It deserves recognition not just on one day, but every day.

Thank you to each and every one of our 5,183 international who have made Frimley Health their home 💙

The MMRV vaccine protects against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chickenpox) and is an important part of the childhood vaccination schedule.

If your child has missed any vaccines, or if you have recently moved to the UK from another country, it is never too late to catch up. The NHS offers free catch-up vaccinations to help ensure children and adults are protected and up to date. Checking your vaccination record and booking missing doses can help protect both your family and the wider community. 💉🛡️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

Tomorrow afternoon (12th February) the clinical staff will be off-site at a planned clinical training event, and there will be drainage groundwork taking place to the practice entrance way. If you come to the practice after 12.30pm, parking will need to be on the main road and walk round.

LOST AND FOUND. Have you, or anyone you know who has visited the surgery recently, lost a small blue 'Phonak' hearing aid?
One was handed in to us last week and still hasn't been claimed. Pop in to reception and collect it, if it is yours!

Children under 6 are now being offered the MMRV vaccine instead of MMR as part of the NHS routine childhood vaccination programme.
This replaces the existing MMR vaccine and adds protection against chickenpox, alongside measles, mumps and rubella.
You don’t need to do anything — your GP will contact you when your child is due.
