SATURDAY MENOPAUSE CAFE
We’re pleased to let you know that Ruschliffe Social Prescribing's Saturday Menopause Café sessions are returning and we are holding one specifically in Bingham in March 2026.
* Long Acre Studios Gallery NG13 8BG
* Sat Mar 21 from 10am to 12pm
Introduced in response to feedback from working-age women who told us that weekday sessions are difficult to attend,
these workshops provide a friendly, supportive and non-judgemental space to explore menopause and perimenopause, with trusted, evidence-based guidance that participants can use in everyday life.
Hosted by a GP and a Pharmacist, they are relaxed and informal and offer a safe and supportive space to share experiences, ask questions and learn more about managing menopause. Whether you’re going through menopause, supporting someone who is, or simply want to find out more, you’re very welcome to join us.

We wanted to share a brief summary of feedback from patients who have attended our Menopause Café sessions through the Rushcliffe Social Prescribing Community Hub.
Feedback consistently highlights:
- improved understanding of menopause symptoms and treatment options
- reduced anxiety and uncertainty
- increased confidence in discussing menopause with health professionals
- Attendees frequently describe sessions as clear, reassuring and practical, with many reporting that they felt better prepared for GP appointments afterwards.
Some anonymised feedback includes:
- “It helped me understand what’s happening to my body.”
- “Very reassuring and informative without being overwhelming.”
- “I feel more confident about speaking to my GP.”
Part of the Social Prescribing Hub, free satellite sessions run across Rushcliffe to support health, wellbeing and social connections.
