just because you get taken to A&E by ambulance doesn't mean you'll be seen quicker?

This is because patients are prioritised in order of seriousness regardless of whether you make your own way there or arrive by ambulance.

Thank you to the pupils of Sycamore Class for a very warm welcome on Wednesday. The pupils took part in a Shoctober session – our annual campaign with the aim of teaching children what to do in an emergency.

Thank you children for listening, for taking part, and for showing excellent lifesaving skills!

⏰ Since June 2025, our amazing Cross Hands Community First Responders have given up 1,000 hours of their time for others.

🩺These hours include patient care & contact, training & assessments, and community engagement.

💚Their dedication, compassion and commitment to being there in critical moments make a real difference to people’s lives.

🙏Thank you to every volunteer who gives their time to keep our community safe.
