Feeling very festive here at Heatherview 🎄🎅🏻
St John’s Primary School visited today and sang some lovely Christmas Carols for us all! 🥰
After they replenished themselves with Juice and Biscuits they mingled amongst the Residents and had some lovely chats! 😊

A few of the Residents made a wish on our wish tree to go to the local pantomime- Oh no they didn’t!! 😂
So of course we happily granted these wishes!! 🌟💫⭐️✨
They all really enjoyed themselves and had a fabulous time- they even got to have a photo with the cast! 🥰

We’ve had a fabulous festive fun filled week here at Heatherview! 😊Lots of activities and events going on, from mince pies being made, to making Angels for our Christmas Trees 🎄 with all this taking place we still managed to include two outings to the local garden centre where some of the Residents did their Christmas shopping!
It was one Residents wish to go with her Daughter to a Garden centre so we were very happy to be able to do this for both of them 🥰 It was so nice seeing the Residents enjoying themselves and admiring all the beautiful decorations they had on display! 🙏🏻❤️
Everyone had a wonderful time 😊

We had THE best fun today here at Heatherview!
We had a visit from Robin who works in the Theatre’s 🎭 supporting Thespians with their wigs!!
As we are theming our Christmas around 1950s we asked Robin if he had any styles that suited the 1950s he did not disappoint!!
He brought in an array of styles, colours and designs and we had an absolute blast!!
We got to style a wig in a specific 1950s fashion each Resident got to put rollers in the wig!
Robin also demonstrated how a wig is worn for films and theatre productions- I was the guinnie pig for this as you’ll see!! From Liz to Captain Jack Sparrow!! 😂
Everyone had such a great time!! We laughed so hard it was brilliant fun!! 😂
We just had to try on the vast amount of wigs that were available and of course not miss a photo opportunity!! 😊
I’m sure you’ll all agree when you see the photos! 😊
I warn you there is a lot! Enjoy them! 🥰
We certainly enjoyed wearing them! 😂

Festive Fun here at Heatherview this week! 🎁 🎄 Ho Ho Ho

All the lifestyle team and the care teams along with the Residents have been decorating all the home with festive cheer! We have had such a wonderful time making the home look as festive as we can! As part of the Care Uk “Step into Christmas” 1950’s We decorated our Snug lounge with a 1950’s vintage theme!

Some family members visited too, making our afternoon even more special! 😊
