Introduced at the hospital last year, Arthrosamid® Contura Orthopaedics Ltd is a long-acting injectable treatment for people living with knee osteoarthritis, offering a non-surgical option to help reduce pain and improve mobility.

Meet Christopher 👋

After a childhood knee injury and decades of discomfort, Christopher finally sought treatment.

Christopher said: "I was beginning to limp, and my knee was starting to give way. That’s what really pushed me to act. My GP referred me to The Horder Centre, where I had scans and saw Mr Lee David, A Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.

"He looked at the scans and offered me a total knee replacement. I wasn't worried about the surgery. I was expecting him to say that, and it just confirmed what I already knew.”
