In Mongolia , the assessments have begun and 14 children from the Lotus Children's Centre Mongolia have been selected to enrol on this Phase 1 of the programme.

The Christina Noble Children's Foundation and their Social workers are now working on the profiles of these children.

As that happens, the next step will be to make the sponsorship accessible to you on their website so you can then choose to support a child in a very real way.

My work with Lotus Children’s Centre Mongolia and Christine Noble Children’s Foundation is a little behind schedule but coming along nicely thanks to the hard work of the teams in Mongolia.

The CNCF Child Sponsorship Programme for the Lotus Centre helps the development of the individual child.

During my trip to Mongolia in June, I had various meetings with organisations on behalf of the Lotus Children's Centre Mongolia (LCC) to help set up a
Child Sponsorship Programme for them.

Data demonstrates that individual Child Sponsorship has a marked & measured positive impact to the life of the child.

Pictured here at the Christina Noble Childrens Foundation (CNCF) at their premises in Ulaanbaatar, with Amaraa (Country Director) & Tuvshin (Sponsor Relations Coordinator). They run a very impressive operation here! Thanks again for meeting with me.

We discussed the processes & challenges of running such a programme and I am pleased to announce that we came to an agreement!

CNCF have agreed to collaborate with LCC and take on the setup, management and administration of individual child sponsorships for LCC within their existing framework. We’ll soon see the children at Lotus on the CNCF website ready to accept monthly/annual sponsorship. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Quite a milestone as this is the first time that a sponsorship programme will run right across the Lotus Children’s Centre since it’s establishment 30 years ago.

We kicked-off the first phase last week which will draft the “Memorandum of Understanding “ - an agreement of expectations and responsibilities for each party. This will be swiftly followed by an assessment of the LCC by CNCF to ascertain needs.

Exciting! I’ll keep you posted.

I’m on my way to the Lotus Children’s Centre who home vulnerable, abandoned children. Providing primary care as well as supporting their development.
