January gets a rough deal, an unfair slating, connotations of feeling blue and being cold, dark and depressing.

But I love January and the calmness it provides after a hectic December. And this year we have been blessed with beautiful blue skies, crisp mornings and stunning sunlight. It's short days give us a chance to cosy up in the evenings to rest, reflect and rejuvenate.

January still offers us light and warmth, just differently. And that's ok.

It is also a time when we might focus more on our health and wellbeing perhaps and that means it's a time I get to meet lovely new patients and help them on their path to renewed health. Sharing the wonder of healing and homeopathy gives me much warmth all year round. ☀️💚

Helios Homeopathy is celebrating it’s 39th birthday today!

Founded in 1986 by John Morgan and 4 enthusiastic homeopathic students, Helios began its work, at the Tunbridge Wells pharmacy, to create a new source of potent, accurate and effective remedies. Today with John still at the forefront of the business, Helios now has a bank of more than 3,800 remedies and has 80 dedicated staff in both our Tunbridge Wells and Covent Garden pharmacies.

We are very proud that today we remain fully committed to making homeopathic remedies of the highest quality and are able to send these to over 140 countries, often dispatching in excess of 650 orders daily.

Sue is one of our Email Desk Coordinators who answers hundreds of email enquires and orders each week. Sue has been with Helios for 22 years and is also a very experienced Homeopath. She recommends our Arnica and Rhus Tox / Ruta tubes of cream because they smell lovely, are easily absorbed and are wonderfully healing. Her 6 year old twin granddaughters always ask for “Grandma’s magic cream” when they fall over and Sue happily applies Arnica cream to help with any bruising. Her husband is a big fan of Rhus tox / Ruta cream which has recently helped his sprained ankle.

Debbie is one of our experienced Homeopaths, qualifying 11 years ago, and has been with Helios for over a year enjoying her time both in our pharmacy dispensing remedies as well as on the phone to give advice and take your orders. Debbie’s favourite remedy is Pulsatilla because she loves that it can calm an emotional and tearful child who may be suffering with a nasty cough or cold as well as helping hormonal ailments whether it be for menstrual problems or during pregnancy and labour.

Paula is part of the web team managing the website and downloading all the orders that come in from all over the world. Paula has been at Helios for 12 years and has been a Homeopath for 20 years. Paula’s favourite combination remedy is Helios Injury (Arnica, Rhus Tox and Ruta) because it helps alleviate all those aches and pains after exercise.
