Hello everyone! Well, after my last post about anxiety, I was inundated with people to work with on line. I have now got some availability. I work on line using Zoom for EFT and NLP. I currently am only working on line as I am still Covid concerned for my family. However, I have realised that these Therapies work brilliantly on line and I am planning on continuing this way. I shall re introduce Reiki and Indian Head Massage at a later date.
For now my EFT and NLP ( often combined) work well. Pretty much anything that comes up in your life that causes you concern can be dealt with- either or both Therapies, I can discuss this with you. My Niche is Migraine headaches- currently 4 years free!!! Also I work with Anxiety, Depression and
CPtsd as my Niche, but having said that, pretty much anything can be helped.
Please feel free to contact me for anything you wish to have advice on. I offer a free call/ text or email with advice - whichever you prefer.
A little about me, I was a huge Migraine sufferer for about 30 years!!! After training in EFT I managed to clear Migraine from my life - completely just by using EFT alone!! Finally, I was able to live my life fully without relying on medication and days trying to sleep it off! Please contact me to find out more! I can’t think of anything that can’t be helped using either therapy, but for severe conditions/ situations I would offer advice accordingly and may refer you on as I have done previously.
I have availability starting from next week, so if I can help you then please drop me a line.
Zoom/FaceTime/Skype is a great way of communicating. I’ve worked with people from all over the country/world and it’s ideal to fit in with your life style/ availability.
Please let me know if I can help! Phone call/ email/text- whatever you prefer. I look forward to helping you.xx

During lockdown, I’ve been doing a lot of extra study. One of the main studies that I’ve been focusing on is Anxiety. Very relevant to today!
My Therapy business has taken off online and I now work with people via Zoom.

A little about Anxiety.
One of the first concepts of anxiety I learnt was that; Fear is emotion and Anxiety is a disorder of fear! Anxiety isn’t a ‘mental’ condition, but a result of inappropriate interaction between the mind and Endocrine system.
Diabetes is a Endocrine condition too, yet you would never say Diabetes is a mental health condition- so why would you with Anxiety?

Let’s do an example.; You’re waking up in the morning and you don’t like your job. First thought on waking up- Oh no. I have to go to work. That turns into something else, I don’t like the people I work with, that turns into something else and so on and so on. Each negative thought creates another negative thought ( this sends neurons back to your brain SHOUTING OUT ‘negative response, negative response’. The negative response lights up in your brain, creating negativity and turns your body into feelings of anxiety. Your body sets itself up for ‘fight and flight’ - is there danger? The Endocrine system starts to work, the fight and flight system relies on the Endocrine system which releases hormones, triggers the Adrenal glands and the digestive system and all work by triggering the rest of your body.
The chances are, there is no danger it’s just a negative response from your subconscious. If each day we go through the same emotion, then each day the body is setting itself back up to prepare for ‘possible’ danger. But there is no danger, it’s your thought process creating a ‘danger’. Leading to Anxiety!
So what can you do?
You are in control of your thoughts. There is no one next to you with a remote control telling you what to do, what to say how to react etc. This is down to YOU!!
Your subconscious is ruling your life.

So what can you do?
As you are in control of your thoughts- only you- no one else. You have a choice. Do you go along with the subconscious thought pattern OR do you bring yourself into your conscious brain?
Bringing yourself into your conscious brain brings you into the NOW.
So, next time you get feelings of being anxious, what can you do -as you’re in control? You can bring yourself into the moment. What is going on around you? What can you see, hear and smell as of NOW? Are you in a dangerous situation? Or are you concentrating on feelings which are preparing you for a dangerous situation?
People with Anxiety disorders generally live in the what ‘might’ happen. Fear of the future. By changing those subconscious feelings will move you into a place where you feel safe and able to move on with a ‘normal’ day.

One more fact, did you know that 1 panic attack is the equivalent of walking up 12 flights of stairs!! Can you imagine someone who goes through ongoing panic attacks must be feeling? How exhausted their brain and body is?
I’ll talk more about that on another post, not everyone who has anxiety has panic attacks, but quite often the two are linked.

If you would like to work with me on helping to remove anxiety from your life, then please contact me for more info. I offer a free no obligation enquiry On how I can help by using my qualifications in NLP, EFT and Hypnosis to help you on your recovery journey.x

Ahhhh!! So Coronavirus is here. So fed up with various ‘Therapist’ services trying to make money out of it! We all need to be resilient and understand the crisis of the situation. Whether you think you can carry on seeing people at home etc is just not authentic! Where is your authenticity? At times like this we need to think about the real danger here, none of us really know who we’ve been in contact with or whether our home/clinic is safe.. let’s put this in to “real life” perspective and stop trying to make money out of this... I’ve read so many posts from “therapists” saying they are safe and can carry on etc, well at the moment none of us really know!! As a Therapist myself I am concerned not only for me and my family welfare but for yours too.. we need to be realistic here, realise this is a serious situation and not time to be counting the pennies as hard as that maybe... Please consider your clients, yourself and your family. This has to be top priority for now!!x

Anxiety/Stress/Worry;

Anxiety now a days is a pretty commonly used word that seems to be a term that anyone uses when they are feeling worried about something. The word ‘Anxiety’ though shouldn’t be used loosely as it can be extremely debilitating for some people.
I myself have suffered with horrendous anxiety since being a very young child. As a child I truly believed there was something majorly wrong with me, I worried from the moment I got out of bed in the morning until I went to bed at night. I came across as a very loud, outgoing and funny child, but inside every day I battled with worrying about everything, even things that were absolutely nothing to do with me I would take on board and make it my concern.
For years and years this went on, I didn’t know it was anxiety, but I did know it wasn’t right. Everyone else appeared more confident and ‘better’ then me. I always felt that I was the odd one out, my opinion never mattered and I didn’t have a right to speak;
Thankfully, through being extremely stubborn and independent, I made it my right to find my way and believe in myself. I have spent years in discovering what I believe in, why I feel like I do, what is important to me and how to survive in a fast paced stressful world.
My trainings that I have been on have allowed me to find the ‘real me’ and not let me try and be something that I’m not. I have discovered my qualities and my negatives and have worked on each one to a place where I want them to be.
If I had continued with my anxiety ruling and defining me I would not be where I am and probably not able to even write a sentence like this.
There are so many self help tools out there for anxiety/stress etc, almost too many. It can cause anxiety just trying to find the right method of help. For me the trainings that I have attended has helped me to resolve my anxiety and move forward. I have trained in EFT and NLP. The two of these work well together in finding positive steps forward and allowing the anxiety to diminish at a pace that worked well for me.
Having found my training so helpful. I qualified myself in EFT and NLP as a Practitioner and I now help other people who are experiencing anxiety related problems.
EFT works by getting to the root of the problem and working forwards to present day and NLP uses techniques and language patterns to diminish negative thoughts and behaviours. I can also use guided meditations as I have also completed Hypnosis training.
There is nothing better then feeling relaxed and not worrying about tomorrow! By living in the moment, we experience the ‘now’ and that is all we need.
If you would like to find out more about my Therapies and how I can help you, then please message me. I work from a room in my home which is all set up for relaxation and a time for ‘you’;
I look forward to hearing from you.x

Do you go through life wondering why you feel like you do? Do you wonder where that anxiety comes from, not knowing sometimes why you say and do the things you do?
Through a process in NLP called ‘Parts’ work and another process called “Core Transformations” we can look back and realise why we feel like we do, but more importantly we can change this.
NLP involves very simple exercises which can be transformative to your life.
I have overcome many obstacles that have sat with me since childhood. By going back and talking to your parts, you can listen to what that part either needed or wants and find how to move forwards in life.
If you would like to discuss this with me further I offer a free 15 minute phone call or you can message me on here.

June is Ptsd/Cptsd awareness month. Ptsd generally is caused by a one off incident whereas Cptsd is caused by a number of incidents that happen in your life that you have no control or escape over. The symptoms of both are really detrimental to your health causing your body to be in a constant state of stress. Through my own journey and the number of trainings that I have taken I am able to help you through this, helping you to find a way to feel more in control of your life. I use a number of therapies including EFT and Nlp. If you would like some more information or advice then please contact me for more details.

It’s really difficult staying in the moment. How many times during the day do you think ahead and start worrying about what’s happening tomorrow or next week etc. How many times are you lost in your past? Thinking about what has happened, mistakes you’ve made- you can’t change it. Start living for now as in this moment and enjoy each moment. Tomorrow might never come so just concentrate on today.

This felt an appropriate picture to post today.. Trauma can be a one off incident in your life or it can be repeated events where there is no escape. Trauma can manifest itself in so many ways through the human body. Through flashbacks, feelings of worthlessness, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, addictions and the list goes on and on. What you can try to do is to learn a way that you are comfortable moving forwards with. Small steps in finding ways of helping yourself, what you experienced in life doesn’t need to define you, look at how you can take those small steps and make changes to feel better about yourself. The more positive changes you are able to make the more positive you will feel and change will start to happen. Give yourself time, set your boundaries high and start to make those little changes, you will notice a difference, it won’t happen over night but each day make a small change in how you feel and what you can do to feel better about yourself.❤️

The last couple of months have been really busy for me training wise. This weekend I completed a IEMT course. This stands for Integral Eye Movement Therapy. This is a brief change work process which generates change in emotional states and identity imprints.
I have case studies to do and once these are completed and passed then I shall be an accredited IEMT Practitioner which will work really well alongside my NLP and EFT training.
I look forward to talking more about NLP and IEMT once I’m fully qualified..
