Oh my heart is full!
There have been so many 'pinch me' moments I've had since I joined Slimming World All Saints back in 2016 and yesterday was absolutely up there.
I was privileged to be invited as a guest speaker at the Emerald Celebration Day. A group of members made the trip to Head Office to see what goes on behind the scenes with their fabulous consultant Emma Elizabeth
And what a day! With the best team mate ever Joe Thompson we were talking about how losing weight with Slimming World has enriched our own lives, and the joy of sharing that within our communities large and small.
Slimming World really do put their members at the heart of everything they do, and I think Emma's members really saw that. Helping others lead happier, healthier lives through sustainable weight loss and building healthy habits for life.
Never in a million years did I think little old me would be invited to something like this as a National Title Winner. A World away from the nervous woman who pushed her pram through the doors of our group 10 yrs ago not knowing what was on the other side but really hoping she'd lose a bit of weight.
And what a treat to spend the day with Mr Sleek 2023 Joe Thompson! As gorgeous on the inside as he is on the outside ♥️😉
