Jayne Hobson Yoga Yoga classes in Crowborough, suitable for beginners and experience students. One to one sessions and workshops also available to deepen practice.

I am incredibly lucky to have been teaching the subject I am most passionate about for nearly 13 years. Yoga is about living as fulfilled a life as possible given the circumstances around us. The aim of my classes is to enable students to improve their strength, flexibility, mobility, balance, concentration and quality of breath in a relaxed and supportive environment. I hope your yoga practice will nourish, relax and help calm your mind!

It's a shiny new term next week! Our theme is "experience." We shall explore how to get the most out of our yoga experience on the mat and also how we can embrace new and different experiences off the mat, too.

Both Monday classes are now full, but there may be drop-in opportunities at £12 per class.

I still have a few spaces on Wednesday morning. Based at Jarvis Brook Memorial Hall, 9.45 - 11.00, this class is something special. I always struggle to know how to market it. It is a beginner/improvers/support/can be on a chair if you want/can be challenging if you want 🤣

What I do know is that it is the people who make it. It is an immensely friendly, supportive group who come together each week to enjoy each other company and their practice.

As our summer term comes to a close this week, I am excited to announce pop up beach themed classes on Monday 28th July!

Both classes are at Jarvis Brook Memorial Hall. 9.45 - 11.00 am and 6.30 - 8.00pm. Expect some fun posture work, followed by some tidal breathing and a yummy beach themed relaxation.

It's summer...got to be done! Let me know if you would like a space 🌊⛱️

Good morning everyone! I have space in my Wednesday class for the next two weeks. 9.45 - 11.00 am at Jarvis Brook Memorial Hall. The friendliness bunch of people. Happy International Women's Day! I know this post is a day late but yesterday I was enjoying precious time with three inspirational, strong women having fun in London for my lovely friends 50th.

I am incredibly blessed to be surrounded by amazing family, friends and students who listen to each other, offer support and advice. We talk....and that is so important. I know I would have felt quite lost if it wasn't for all of my menopause chats with my sister and my bestie in particular. To be fair, anyone who will listen. Quite often the girls on the tills in Tesco 🤣

Keep listening, supporting and complimenting. It really does help 🙏🧘🏼‍♀️

Yoga gives us a different perspective. Dangling upside down encourages us to see the world in different ways. As I was lying on my mat this morning, I noticed how gorgeous my flowers looked from a different angle. How the light hit them, how colourful they were, how they looked so alive and fresh. Sometimes, we just need to look at things in a different way, to change our perspective. X

Good morning! This terms theme is ahimsa, a magical little sanskrit word than means non-harming. Not only in the physical sense to others, but also, and very importantly, ourselves too. It also extends to animals and the planet.

We are into week 4 and this week we are looking at how yoga can help to boost your immunity. It reduces stress, balances hormones, improves our circulation, sleep, reduces inflammation and helps to balance our nervous system. All very important things that help to improve our immune function. Yoga has always been much more than being able to touch your toes.

A fabulous weekend of Yoga for Self-Love. We explored ways in which we can cultivate positive self talk, learn to set boundaries to use our energy more efficiently and express gratitude for what we already have in our lives. And that was just a tiny part of it. I absolutely loved all of the effort, energy and enthusiasm in the room on both days. And, I loved all of the cake! Especially the huge vegan carrot cake.

Thank you to everyone who came and practiced. You are all a truly lovely bunch x
