It’s Know Your Numbers Week! High blood pressure can lead to heart attacks, strokes, and other illnesses. High blood pressure has no symptoms, so the only way to know if you have it is to check it! Home monitoring is an effective way to keep blood pressure under control and reduce your risk of illness.

Did you know you can also check your blood pressure at the surgery using our machine in the waiting area? Pop down anytime during opening hours.

National Carers Week this year is 9th-13th June. Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don't think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support. For more information regarding the campaign and free local events taking place next week please visit our website: https://newwokinghamroadsurgery.nhs.uk/news/national-carers-week-9-13-june-2025/

Our Story

Welcome to New Wokingham Road Surgery. We are committed to giving our patients high standards of care in a friendly and supportive environment. We aim to achieve this by working together with our patients. We provide extended opening hours on Tuesdays until 8.00pm and on various Saturday mornings. These appointments are pre-bookable only and our phone lines will be closed. Please check out our website for Saturday dates (www.newwokinghamroadsurgery.nhs.uk)or call Reception.

We strive to provide the best possible service to all our patients and we hope that you will not have a reason to raise a concern or complaint. We do realise, however, that this is not always possible. Firstly, we would like to encourage you to contact our Practice Manager to resolve the issue within the Practice. Please go to our website for more information on how to give feedback. We politely request that complaints not be aired via social media, particularly when it names any members of our staff. We would much prefer you to contact us directly so that we can deal appropriately and swiftly with any issue you may have. Thank you.
