Due to the merger going ahead this weekend we will be shut from 1pm today until 9.30am monday. This is to ensure everyones medical records are accurately transferred to New Road's computer systems. If you need urgent medical care please call 111. ( They are aware we are shut) For non urgent care please consider your local pharmacy.

Monday AM. Due to technical difficulties with the telephone system we were not able to answer your calls as speedily as we would have liked this morning.

We apologise to those patients kept waiting between the 8.am and 9am

Baldwins lane patients only : If you have a smart phone but are struggling to use the NHS App to order prescriptions or view information we are a running a digital help clinic Saturday 13thApril 9.30-11.30. If possible download the app first & bring photo ID ( drivers license or passport). No appointment necessary as group sessions will be run every 20-30 minutes.

We are really excited to announce that Baldwins Lane Surgery and New Road Surgery propose to Merge on 1st April 2024, subject to final approval from NHSE.

In addition on 12th DECEMBER 2023 7pm patients are invited to join New Road Patients at their Patient Participation Meeting where doctors and manager of both surgeries will be available to ask questions of. The meeting is open to patients of both sites.

Flu 💉💉💉and Cake🧁🎂🍰🥮

Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September we be hosting Macmillan Cake morning along side our FLU clinics.

All welcome to join us for cake. Between 9.00 and 12.00 both days. Cakes for all tastes including vegan and gluten free.

Flu jabs are by appointment only.

Help us raise funds for this great cause.

If you are a patient aged 65+ or have a LTC and would normally have free NHS flu jab call 01923 774732 to reserve your place. Alternative dates available please ask reception.

Flu vaccinations.

Planning ahead for September we will be hosting free NHS flu vaccinations on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September between 0900 and 1300 to those in eligible cohorts. Appointments are required.

We will send out invites shortly by text which will allow you to self book via text link, no need to call reception as you will be able to book via text. Keep eye out at the end of August for your text invite if you are aged 65 and above or have a Long Term Condition that makes you eligible and are under this age.

If you don’t have a mobile that receives texts we will call you and if you are housebound we will contact you nearer to September to discuss your vaccination.

Portacabins were delivered safely yesterday. Today the fit out starts so we can use them. The surgery is open for appointments or queries and safe access is between the two units. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Today we see the delivery and installation of the portacabin’s which we will be using as the building continues to dry out.

We apologise to patients and local residents for the disruption this will cause as the units are removed from the lorry and fitted in place.

By the end of the month all services will be resumed at 266 Baldwins Lane. We would like to thanks New Road Surgery and Bridgewater Surgery for their support during this difficult period.

Due to works being carried out at the surgery, from Monday 12th June there will be no parking available for the forseeable future. Please park in nearby roads, at the parking area in the recreation ground. If you have limited mobility we suggest someone drops you as close as possible and then go to park, or park in shopping area or road opposite. Apoligies for the inconvenience but this will allow us to all be back on site at the surgery rather than scattered across croxley and watford.
