We had a lovely day with different activities for St George's day, doing some arts and crafts, colouring and entertainment of gentle exercise.
The residents enjoyed doing a lovely exercise session showing the strength and bravery they have within them representing the day very well and enjoyed the movies they had learned put into a beautiful dance? ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ๐Ÿ’ƒ

We had a lovely mass taken by the priest who created an amazing experience for our resident by wearing his chasuble and creating an altar so the residents can feel they are in church . This allowed residents to provide their faith and spiritual connection , especially when the priest gave some lovely words of encouragement.๐Ÿ™โ›ช

Residents had a fun afternoon singing and dancing along to songs they know and love. Residents enjoyed the funny and different costumes that were presented making residents have laughter and smiles on their faces.๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿ’ƒ

Our residents enjoyed a lovely calming exercise session yesterday ๐Ÿชญ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐ŸŽถ

The residents really enjoyed the Chinese exercise session which they also combined with a graceful dance routine that was showing the moves they had learned.

It was lovely to see all the residents interacting, taking part and enjoying a common exercise session.

Celebrating St Patrick's Day at Albany Lodge Nursing home!

Our residents had a truly magical time enjoying a fantastic live performance by Jamie, who brought music, joy, and plenty of smiles to everyone in the room.
The atmosphere was full of laughter, singing, and great spirit as we marked this special day together.
It was a heartwarming celebration that with a perfect mix of music, community, and St Patrickโ€™s Day cheer!

Today at Albany Lodge, we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating two very special birthdays! ๐ŸŽ‰

A huge happy 91st birthday to Ivy and a wonderful 80th birthday to Sandy!

What an incredible milestone for both of our lovely residents. ๐Ÿ’

The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and warm wishes as fellow residents and our amazing staff came together to make the celebration truly memorable. It was heartwarming to see everyone join in to honour Ivy and Sandy on their special day.
