Shirley Neighbourhood Care Shirley Neighbourhood Care provides services to help the older residents of Shirley live and enjoy independent lives.

Shirley Neighbourhood Care is a small charity in Shirley, Croydon, which works to help the local elderly residents live independently. We provide a range of services including a weekly lunch club, outings, drives to medical appointments, a befriending service and a weekly shopping bus to local supermarkets.

Starting on the 6th May, join us every Tuesday (term time only) from 12:00 to 2:00 PM for a relaxing and friendly afternoon. Whether you’d like to enjoy a delicious lunch, sip on a coffee with cake, or simply enjoy great company, you’ll always find a warm welcome here. From 1:00 to 2:00 PM, we’ll have a different fun activity each week, including bingo, quizzes, live music, board games, and more! On 2nd December the wonderful Shirley Oaks Hospital hosted a delicious 3 course Christmas Dinner for SNC as part of their charity offering. We all had the best time, the food was incredible and all the staff made us feel like true VIPs. This is truly a highlight of the year for many of our Clients and we are very grateful to Shirley Oaks for making it possible. Wishing everyone at Shirley Oaks a very merry Christmas and a happy new year 🎄
