An NIHR funded research survey for mother/birthing person who has suffered pregnancy loss before the 24th week of pregnancy
๐ค๐Would you like to take part in research about pregnancy loss?
What is the research about?
The Linking Loss study is an NIHR-funded project which aims to increase the understanding of mental health support needs following pregnancy loss, and to develop a supportive and inclusive peer-led group programme. It will explore experiences of pregnancy loss before 24-weeks, with a focus on mental health support needs following loss.
Who can take part in the study?
The study is running surveys and interviews with people who have personally experienced pregnancy loss before 24-weeks (including miscarriage, ectopic, and molar pregnancy) in the last 2 years, and the professionals who support them after their loss (including peer support workers, sonographers, midwives, and psychologists). The surveys and interviews will inform a series of coproduction workshops where a group, peer-led intervention to support mental health needs following pregnancy loss before 24 weeks will be adapted. If you have personally experienced pregnancy loss or work in a role that supports those who have, the research team would really like to hear from you.
How can you take part in the study?
The study survey can be completed anonymously online without contact from the research team, but they can also provide translated materials and remote assistance to complete the survey. At the end of the survey, you can express an interest in being contacted about an additional one-to-one interview to speak more about your experiences. Anyone who is interviewed will receive a ยฃ20 voucher. You can access the study surveys and find out more through the below links.
