Who has ever been to ‘sit up straight’ and ‘stop slouching, you’ll injure your back’?

Well, the truth is there is no such thing as good or bad posture‼️🤯

Staying in any one position for a long period of time can cause you discomfort, good or bad posture😱

The saying goes’ movement is medicine’ 🧪
So an alarm on your phone every 1-2 hours to get up and get moving e.g. getting a cup of tea ☕️ or making lunch 🥗

HEAT 🔥 vs COLD 🧊

Often we get confused about whether to use heat or cold for an injury, swipe through for a brief overview of the effects of each!

⚠️Please consult a healthcare proffessional about what will be suitable to you specifically⚠️

🔥 HEAT- Dilates blood vessels (Vasodilation), relaxes muscles and alleviates pain
🧊ICE- Constricts blood vessels (Vasoconstriction)reducing swelling/ inflammation and numb pain

NOTE: -Cover both heat/ cold with a thin towel to avoid frostbite🥶/heat burn 🥵
-Don’t use heat in areas where you lack sensation in that area of the body, or have poor circulation (e.g Diabetes)

Hey Guys,
As some of you know MDOsteo indirectly has remained closed given my location within a Leisure Centre 🏠 Thank you to everyone who has accommodated to this, whether it be travelling to my other work locations, or making time for zoom meetings ⏰
Following on from the latest government updates, I am very happy to share that I will be re-opening from Saturday 25th July alongside gyms/leisure centres‼️
