🎧 Launching 12 May: Singing For Our Minds – The Podcast 🎧

As we enter Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re excited to introduce Singing For Our Minds — a new podcast and free educational resource created to help group singing leaders build inclusive spaces that welcome and support people living with a range of mental health experiences.

Hosted by Jeremy Haneman, Aga Serugo-Lugo, and Nicola Wydenbach, the series brings together voices from across music and mental health to explore how choirs can become places of care, connection, and community.

Across 8 episodes, you’ll hear from guests including Tom Herring (Sansara), Edward Price (BBC Singers), Darren Abrahams (Hive Mind), Nadine Benjamin MBE, Zena Edwards, Amy Bebbington (Harlequin/Wavelength), Naveen Arles (New YVC), Ian Noonan (University of Huddersfield) and Dr Yoon Irons (University of Derby).

🎙️ Expect open conversations, practical insights, and real tools to help transform your singing group into a space where every voice is valued — and supported.

📅 All episodes available from 12 May 2025.

Carers need a carer centre base not some light lonely online stuff that is impersonal and unconnected.
