RBI was established when holiday companies recognised the need for a commercial repatriation strategy to reunite loved ones with their families after a fatal tragedy abroad. We have been the official helpline for The National Association of Funeral Directors and its members for 15 years. In June 2016 the company was the first funeral director in the UK to sign the Armed Forces Covenant. Our organisation has been signposted in FCO literature as being one which may be able to provide support and advice to British nationals who need the services of an international funeral director.

In a crisis, every second counts. This Emergency Services Day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the NHS, paramedics, police and all first responders whose courage and dedication save lives daily.

112 is the international standard emergency number, now used in over 100 countries worldwide.

In the UK, calling 112 connects you to the same emergency services as 999 – police, fire, ambulance and coastguard – and it works in exactly the same way. Neither number has priority, so you can safely use either to reach help.

The key difference is that 112 works across borders. If you are travelling in Europe or many other parts of the world, dialling 112 will connect you to local emergency services, ensuring that help is always just a call away.
