Frontier Support

Frontier Support Frontier Support provides specialist help and support to vulnerable adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Aspergers,Epilepsy,Mental Health conditions.

At Frontier Support we’ve been providing specialist help and support to vulnerable adults in London and the South East since 2006. Our clients have a variety of needs including Learning Disabilities, Autism, Aspergers, Epilepsy, Mental & Physical Health issues and Challenging Behaviour. We provide domiciliary care in the clients’ homes and also support them out in the community. We love what we do and our aim is to enable our clients to live active and socially inclusive lives incorporating routines, hobbies and learning of their choosing. These might include life skills such as managing their own money, cooking and doing their food shopping or perhaps taking part in a weekly club or class or even getting to the cinema. We are registered with the Care and Quality Commission as a Domiciliary Care Provider and we are experts in care and support for vulnerable adults. We are not a Franchise or an Agency and all our support workers are employed directly by us. (Which makes for a happy team)

ADHD Awareness Month is celebrated in October each year, so in 2025 it will be held from October 1st to October 31st. The theme for 2025 is "The Many Faces of ADHD", and events and resources are available from various organizations, including ADHD UK and Includability, to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and provide support for individuals and families affected by ADHD.

You too can support ADHD with events like "31 for 31" challenge by ADHD UK, where you can get active every day for 31 days to raise money for their work.

⭐️ ⭐️ Best Supported Living Team across the South East ⭐️ ⭐️
Support living is about helping people to live the life they want. It’s about making sure that the people we support are safe, feel secure and have the confidence to try new things. And this is something we pride ourselves on. In 2023, Frontier Support was named as the best Supported Living Team across the South East at the Great British Care Awards, after judges said we ‘demonstrated true excellence’ in this field.

Looking For Support - Would you like to refer someone? 🙋🏽‍♂️

Support living is about helping people to live the life they want. That means making sure that personal and physical care needs are met of course. But also helping them to discover and develop new skills and interests. So one day might see us helping Sophie to make her first shepherd’s pie and another we could be helping Solomon to manage his finances.

If you would like to refer someone, please do send an email to referrals@frontiersupport.co.uk and we’ll be sure to get back to you!

Fun events - creative indoor activities and seasonal outings 🎃 🕸️

We’re planning creative indoor activities, seasonal outings, and of course, our much-anticipated Halloween celebrations, where costumes, carved pumpkins and a touch of spooky mischief are all firmly on the agenda.

If summer was all about sunshine and sparkle, autumn will be about comfort, creativity, and maybe the odd cobweb (artificial ones… mostly). And we can’t wait to share it all!

As autism enters the national conversation, we urge leaders and communities to recognize the urgent challenges -- and the critical lack of support & safeguards -- for individuals with autism & their families.

2025 was a summer to remember at Frontier Support 💃🏻 🪩 🕺🏻

The Summer Ball – dancing shoes, glitter and laughter
If you heard laughter echoing across the South East one evening, that was probably us at our Summer Ball.

Held on July 16th, it was an evening of pure sparkle and celebration, where everyone brought their best dance moves (and some brought moves we’re still trying to name). 👡 👞 ✨

The people we support dressed to impress, and so did our team. But our summer ball was more than just a party and a good excuse to get dressed up.

In short, our summer ball was all about injecting some confidence, enjoying connections, and reminding everyone how valued they are.

To see what other fun we had over the summer ☀️ have a look at our summer blog on our website.

Soaking up the sunshine: 2025 was a summer to remember! 🌞 ✈️ 😎

Taking to the skies ☁️ The Eastbourne Airshow 🛩️
For a group of thrill-seekers we support, the summer reached new heights (quite literally!).

We organised a coach trip and headed to the coast for the spectacular Eastbourne Airshow, and it did not disappoint.

Aerobatic displays looped and rolled through the skies while we picnicked on the beach and collected enough seagull stories to last the rest of the year.

It was a day full of wide eyes, shared awe, and occasional squeals of delight. (From the planes, not us. Probably.)

Dodging digital dangers 💻

The internet can be a wonderful place – a huge source of information and a fabulous and convenient way to communicate and make new friends. For people with learning disabilities, and particularly communication disorders it can also be much easier than face to face communication.

There are also some risks to consider 🤔 so we have put together a few helpful tips to bear in mind when going online:

📌 Remember almost everything you do on the internet can be seen by other people – so be careful what you say. And think before you type!

📌 Keep your passwords private – and don’t share them with anyone else.
📌 Never give your personal information – date of birth, address, phone number, bank details – to people you ‘meet’ on the internet.
📌 It’s okay to say no. If a stranger or someone you don’t like sends you a ‘friend’ request, you don’t have to accept it.
📌 Tell someone – if you’re being bullied on the internet (for example, getting nasty Facebook messages or emails)
📌 Take a screen shot of any nasty messages – and don’t delete the message until you’ve done so. Taking a screen shot saves messages, so that you can show them to people who can help you. (
📌 Block bullies – this stops them from being able to contact you. If you’re not sure how to do this, ask someone to show you.
📌 Never arrange to meet up with someone you’ve met online – even if they seem nice, or you think you know them.
📌 Never reply to emails saying you have won the lottery or inherited money – they are fake emails from people who are trying to trick you.
